Wall Septic Service

Jeff always does a great job and I would recommend him to anyone who needs septic service.

He does an excellent job. He's reliable, a good guy and has done a lot for me in the past. I would highly recommend him.

The first visit did not succeed in locating the tank. Wall Service proposed a follow-up visit using an electronic locator. We agreed and Wall Service, which we discovered is a one man operation, said he would call Dig Safe to mark utilities before he returned. After we did not hear or see him or Dig Safe, we called and reminded him we were waiting three weeks later. He then came with the electronic locator and this time it worked. He then proceeded to complete the job. As a final step he placed a riser over the septic opening. We then asked him to present the bill which caught us off-guard because it included several charges we did not anticipate. The use of the additional hose and the extremely expensive riser were much more than we expected. We felt that more of the possible expenses should have been detailed to us in advance. The original estimate was much less than the final bill. In addition, Wall Service asked for a payment immediately upon completion of the job and this was not requested in any prior discussion. We told him to bill us and we would pay by credit card. This is what we normally do with other service providers. He said this was not his policy, but since he had not stated that upfront, we felt it was in our right to delay payment for 36 hours to ensure that there were no problems. We have had other experiences where we have paid on demand and regretted it. His attitude about this payment plan and our preferred way of making payment was very unprofessional. He did receive his payment as promised in 36 hours. Since his business is a one-man operation we feel he needs additional help which would make him more efficient and less stressed. He complained about being overworked much too much.

Jeff tacked us on to the end of the day at both visits in order to accomodate our limited time at the site. He throughly explained what needed to be done, how it would be done and the possible additional costs before he started. He was very professional. We were completely satisfied with Jeff's service and highly recommend him.
