+ -1 moregreat. i've used them before for emergent problems...which was pretty expensive. but if you can shut off the water and wait for a day or two for them to come, the prices are a lot more reasonable. the plumber who came out was friendly, quick, and polite. very satisfied.
Description of Work: upper tank of toilet leaking at connection with toilet bowel near fill valve conncetion to bottom of tank. .fill mechanism broken, and then stem valve that connects the main water pipe to tank bent (not casuing another leak) by yours truly trying to DIY. a new stem valve and new flushing mechanism was installed. they also changed out the rubber washers and corroded (head missing from bolts) bolts that hold tank to bowel--to prevent future leak for $5 of parts to prevent another leak.

+ 0 moreThey were responsive and came quickly but, as noted above, they did more damage than help and charged us for the repairs.
Description of Work: We called them to repair a small leak in the water pipe valve leading to the toilet. At the time the toilet worked fine otherwise. Before they left the toilet was not flushing (was overflowing) and they said they had to replace the toilet - which they did at our expense. I was not there at the time and my wife, not realizing that they must have caused the backup (probably by dropping something down the toilet) authorized the expense. Even with the new toilet it still backed up periodically. They did fix the leaky pipe but it was a very expensive repair.

+ 0 moreThey are good and we like them. They really come when we need them and they are very responsive. They call back right away after you call them. They send someone over the next day and they seem to understand. They usually come out right away when we have any issues. They get delayed sometimes in sending their bills out but their pricing is reasonable. However, it?s not bad. They charged us about $2000 for the last job since they had done a lot of plumbing work in the kitchen. We would use their services in the future too.
Description of Work: We have used the services of West Plumbing & Heating for many years. They did the kitchen plumbing for us when we redid our kitchen in last summer. They had also installed a new furnace in our old house about 15 years ago. They have also done some repairs for us.

+ 1 moreFriendly and professional technician, completed task quickly, checked non-leaky faucet as well. We have used West for the past 12 years and have always been very satisfied. They respond quickly to emergency situations and are very good at recommending solutions. My only minor issue is that they don't bill immediately so we've forgotten about it by the time the bill arrives :) (Hence the current $0 in the amount of money...)

+ -1 moreThey are super and I consider Rick West my personal plumber. He is the most reliable, good hearted plumber you will ever meet. His quality of work is like you have never seen before. He has never messed up a job that I asked him to do.
Description of Work: The previous owner of the house took the radiator handles off. This company replaced them for me. They were also able to get the doors un-stuck on the radiator and installed some new pipes. They then fixed my sump pump.
