SIDERS INC

The GC at Kelly's was behind schedule and over (his) budget when he selected this company for the gutters. Sider's inc was his 2nd or 3rd choice. Since my GC was less than wonderful, I waited several hours for the gutter crew to show up to start work so I could review the job with them in detail. Finally I called the owner / manager and he gave me a sorry story about his crew not showing up to work that day and how most of them did not have a driver's license. The crew showed up on time for the 2nd appointment. I went over the job, explaining that the new fascia was PVC (Azek) and is not rated for structural loads. I told them they would have to screw the gutter hangers into the ends of the rafters. (This should be done for all gutter installations in snow / ice regions anyway.) I inspected the work a few days later and found that they missed almost every rafter! I spoke with the manager and he sent down another crew a few days later. They fixed the problem, although they scratched the new paint job in several areas. Also, the paint on several of the new downspout sections has begun to peel.
