Merry Maids of Norwell, MA

A very disappointing experience overall.  We will never work with this company again nor recommend them to anyone.  The trouble started even before the work when two days before the cleaning, they called to confirm the wrong date (Thurs instead of Fri).  After some discussion, they did managed to agree to still perform the work on the date on the contract.  After the cleaning, it was evident that very little was done and what was done was very superficial.  We first noticed that the kitchen cabinets had not even been touched.  This was also true for the bench in the stairwell.  The fridge and freezer still had mold on the gaskets (see pictures), looking as if no attempt had been made to scrub any of it.  The oven and top of the built-in microwave also appeared to not have been touched (white streaks, encrusted grease and dust) and had to be completely recleaned.  The floors were still very dusty and whatever cleaning they received was very cursory.  The house overall was also still dusty (cobwebs in corners around the ceiling).  The only things that seemed to have received an acceptable level of cleaning were the bathrooms, though the floors were still dirty (came up grimy when we wiped them).
We complained about the cabinets not being done and they claimed that they didn't have it in their notes (although we were charged for them).  They made no comments or apologies for our comments about the quality of the other work and the work that was not done, but did refunded us $109 from the previous quote.  They also returned the keys one day later than they said they would without any communication.
