The technician arrived just before the time window that we'd been given. I was not home when the cleaning was supposed to be done, so one of the other unit owners in my building tried to let the technician in. After having trouble unlocking my door, he proceeded to clean the dryers in the other 2 units, reserving mine for a later date. We were able to rescheduled within a week despite the fact that it was New Year's week. And Bob honored the price he originally quoted me, even though it was contingent on servicing all 3 units at once.

Johnnie came to our condo for dryer vent cleaning. He was very professional, friendly, and punctual. He inspected our vent and said that nothing need to be done. Wow!! Most companies would have done the work for no reason and charged us. His actions showed his honesty and trustworthiness. We will definitely call Dryer Vent Wizard again next year!!

He came into my condo & turned on the dryer . He said he would send a brush down from roof and the dryer will blow
 lint up to the roof. My condo is on the top floor the roof is only a few feet above my ceiling.  I thought this was great
he did  not have to pull my dryer out and make a mess.  Three days later I wanted to clean around the dryer so I pulled it out 
 I thought I might disconnect the hose and take a look . I was shocked to see one inch of lint lining the hose . I took a picture
with a ruler in the picture .  I then with my hand pulled enough lint to  1/2 fill a five gallon bucket .  I complained to the condo
management their answer was to send Dryer Vent Wizard back to do it again. I told management that I have taken care of it myself.
   Dryer vent fires are one of the leaning causes of house fires . We hire people like Dryer Vent Wizard to keep us safe from fire .
 He may have removed some lint from my vent but he left enough behind to fuel a good size fire . He should have come back
 and checked to see if the vent was clean. I am also concerned that the other condos in the building  are in the same condition .

The inspection was thorough and the technician even discovered a leaking pipe in my basement that I wasn't aware of while he was  checking the vent. He explained everything that he would be doing and gave me a price quote before anything was done. He was on time, pleasant and efficient. The cleaning and the repair in a very reasonable amount of time and I was happy with the outcome. I would definitely use them again.

.  I feel like we were robbed.  $800.00 per hour for vaccuming out dryer vents.  Something is clearly wrong with that.  I will never do business with this company again.

They are great.  The owner was the one who came out and he was very punctual as well as very cordial.   We appreciated that he took the time to educate us on what needed to be done and what things were probably unnecessary.  He was willing to use the supplies that we had purchased rather than trying to up sell us to buy his supplies.  He was wonderful and great.  He was quick and clean.  He did a good job.

It was taking about 80 minutes to dry a load of clothes in the dryer. At first I had an appliance repair person look at it, but he discovered that the problem lay with the vent--it was hardly venting. He recommended Dryer Vent Wizard, and after checking Angie's List, I decided to give them a try.

The person from Dryer Vent Wizard  who did the installation at first tried to send the exhaust out through attic on the side of the house nearest the dryer (near where the original exit had been). But that attempt failed, so he decided that the best way to proceed was to exit through the attic from the side of the house, a much further distance (and more expensive solution) but one that would still provide sufficient air flow. He did the work that day and, with my approval, lay the venting on the attic floor.

A few days later, I called the company and asked if they could re-locate the vent off the attic floor and instead suspend it from the rafters of the roof where it would be less prone to getting damaged and less in the way. I spoke with the owner, I believe, and he said he would do it. A few days later the job was done--at no extra charge. The dryer now dries a load of clothes in about a half hour!

I am thoroughly pleased with this vendor--expert knowledge, reliable, went the extra mile, and gave me an Angie's List discount.

Jerry McCarthy and Kevin tackled the very gnarly problem of replacing old dryer ducts in our 120 year old condo building. Before installing new ducts they had to use seasoned diagnostic and detective skills to discern where the old ducts led and how they connected to the condo above. If that were not challenge enough, threading the new ducts through two stories of invisible obstacle strewn brick walls would have brought less hardy men to their knees. They arrived on time and labored with determination consulting with me on decisions. They chose to honor the original estimated price although they worked long beyond the original time frame into the evening. Good old fashioned on time, respectful, courteous fairly priced service.

Everything about the experience was positive. The company is part of a chain and their whole attitude is very professional. I would recommend them to anyone with dryer or vent problems.
