We have used him on many occations for heating, cooling and plumbing problems in our 100 year old home. He always comes up with creative solutions for difficult issues.

It was 7:30 PM , I had gone to the basement and noticed a leak coming from the cold water valve which feeds my kitchen sink. I thought I could stop the leak by tightening the gland nut below the handle. So I turned the water off at the main and when I tightened the nut, I had striped the threads as the valve was very old. I knew the water would leak if I turned the main back on. I called Bisson Plumbing and was told that the owner would contact me within 10 minutes. Claude called me back within 10 minutes and told me he would be at my house within 15 minutes. What a surprise to see his face in such a short time even though it was after hours! He repaired the problem within 20 minutes in a fast, clean, professional manner. Thank you Claude!!! I will surely be using his services in the future!

I called twice and asked if they could install a home water filter. Each time I called they said they could and would call back to set up a time, but never called back. I called for a third time and got an answering service. The answering service put me on hold. I waited a minute and a half and hung up.

For new system, needed two wells drilled 440 feet each. Connecticut Valley Artisan Well drilled the wells. They started in June and were done in July. Claude had the new units delivered to the house in July, and a week or so later he installed them. He removed the old water heater and put in a new electric one that will be incorporated into the geothermal system. They also removed the old furnace, oil tank, old condenser. They hooked up the unit in the cellar first to make sure we didn't go a day without air-conditioning! The second unit was installed in the attic to service the second floor. New vents were installed in the ceiling of the master bedroom, master bath, hallway and guest bedroom, incredibly with no mess! The new system was working perfectly for hot water and air conditioning. No more oil bills! We didn't use the heat until October. The humidifier wasn't working. We called Claude and he returned within a week to fix it. In January, there were four or five days where the temperature was near zero. The system was having trouble keeping the house warm. We called Claude and he was at the house with in two days. He realized the one of his subs - the guys who put in the duct work in the attic didn't remove the old ducts from the cellar to the second floor. The downstairs system was trying to warm both downstairs and upstairs! Claude and his son were there the next week to remove them. Major improvement! He also sent his son back a week later to seal all the duct work in the cellar free of charge. It was a pleasure to work with Claude. He solved our second floor air conditioning problem, by adding the unit in the attic. We are extremely pleased with our new system and with the work Bisson Plumbing did!

To begin with, I had to call Bisson because the tecnician was an hour late.

They apologized for not calling me first. The tech was polite, professional and neat.

However, when the job was done, I assumed I would not have a bill since I purchased

the service at a discounted rate through Angies big deal. Instead, he said he had to do

more than was covered by the deal price...without inquiring with me before performing the

additional service. So, I had to pay almost an extra $100.

Bisson Plumbing came out on the scheduled day to perform the tune up and the gentleman told me it would need more than just what the special would cover. He said it would be a little more labor intensive to clean up the unit that was on the side of the house. I had a feeling that whenever you use one of these deals that there would be a little bit of up sell to them. He seemed to know what he was doing and was working on the system for a few hours, so I didn't mind the extra money, and the system worked great all last summer.

This was an Angie's list Big Deal. The deal expired on 03 November 2012. I waited a bit too long to have the inspection done because it was too cold to do the complete A/C service. That aside, the service was outstanding and my lack of knowledge and planning is no reflection on Bisson Plumbing Heating and Cooling.

The service was outstanding, they arrived earlier than the appointed time and got right to work. They were willing to answer any and all questions about the service and how to properly maintain our furnace and air conditioning unit. They finished within 30 to 45 minutes and did not make a mess. I was impressed with their professionalism and knowledge of our heating system.

I highly recommend this company and can see why they are recommended by Angie's list. I would definitely do business with this company again, in fact, I've added this company to my contact list for future reference and service of my heating and cooling system.

Called to schedule work, but because the temps would not be at a level appropriate to do the work and because the coupon had not yet expired, the work was rescheduled for Spring 2013

I had ordered the service but had to cancel and they were good.

The work never got done

I called and a repairman came out. The furnace had finally started just before he came in (as they are wont to do). He looked the furnace at no charge and helped me with a few tips. When I need service again, I'm definitely calling Bisson.

Called the office on Friday, May 11, 2012. I explained what we needed. I made an agreement with them they would send out tech for estimate and if we could decide at that point “if wanted to move forward or notand quot;. The tech needed further information from his office to make parts list.—so he couldn’t give me a written estimate. Instead--he gave me an invoice. The tech said he would be in trouble if I did not sign it. I wrote “Estimate only—No charge” and signed that instead. The invoice/statement stated various options—we got this information from my contractor who advised me the 2 options over the phone when the tech was here writing up—what I thought was—my estimate. The tech did not know what the proper sizing for the duct work so he could not price it out. Also, I asked them to pull a HVAC permit so that all specs would be met—and he said they didn’t need to.
So the tech did nothing but looks at the job, could not give me and estimate and wanted to bill me for almost 2 hours of work—when no work at all had been done! I called the office figuring it was all--just a mistake. The office lady’s name is Pam was very rude and said it was not a “mistake” and that they would in-fact charge me. I told her I would report her to this Angie’s list and BBB, etc. They tried to somehow blame it on me. They in-turn said that they would report me—-FOR WHAT??? Not wanting to pay for a FREE estimate??? I did not get an estimate—and after the way I was treated I would not “move forward.” My recommendation is--Don't ask for an estimate or anything from this company. You just don’t want to do business with people who treat you like that. Who wants to deal with a business who “threatens you” to pay them for a free estimate they didn’t provide.

I had a problem with my ancient furnace which is a combination heating system and water heater. We'd spoken to our regular plumber who couldn't come out today, on a Sunday, and thought he'd need a part that would be hard to find. We contacted Bisson who's phone number directed me to a cell phone which he answered promptly. We spoke briefly of my issue and I offered to email him pictures of the system. He was on another job at the time but responded back quickly and had a hard time seeing certain details so I then took a brief video and sent that to his phone.

He called me back and, over the phone, walked me through a fix that got my system up and running. He did not come out and did not charge. I want to send him a big batch of home brew! He was awesome, great to talk to, and made my wife very happy, which is priceless. We will definitely be calling him back to permanently fix our issues and maybe replace the whole system.home

Claude is very neat and professional and gave an accurate time frame for the work completed.
It only took 3 days for Claude and his team to complete the work. Well done!
