+ -1 moreFrom the moment I met Peter and Matt, I felt good about the opportunity to work with them. They asked a lot of questions and spent a good amount of time reviewing what needed to be done. Peter got back to me with a written quote detailing the project and after finalizing some details, we moved forward. They worked with my electrician to coordinate a date that would work for them, the electrician and National Grid. I was away during the work but I returned to a completed job and a very, very neat work site. The lawn area where the trench had been dug was loamed and re-seeded. The driveway cut was repaired with an asphalt patch within 48 hours. I was a bit worried that trenching under a stone wall hear the house would be problematic but the wall survived and the entire job was first-rate. I would not hesitate to work with them again.
Description of Work: I needed to upgrade our electrical service to accommodate the installation of a new central air conditioning system. When upgrading the electric panel, the plan was to pull a 200 amp cable through the existing underground conduit to my house. Unfortunately, the conduit had collapsed and pulling a new cable was not possible and I needed to have the existing conduit replaced in order to accomplish this. The project involved digging up the old conduit (which crossed my driveway and under a stone wall to the house) which ran approximately 90 feet from the street to the house and replacing it with a new conduit. Work was coordinated with my electrician, National Grid and the folks from Macaro so that this could all happen on the same day and electric power would be restored at the end of the day.
