It's still sort of resolving, but they were very nice and prescribed some medication. It's a cat.

They are expensive but they are really good. They are very responsive when we call with a question and are very thorough with their exams. They obviously love animals. The people on the desk that answer the phones remember us and our animals. They are also responsible and get a hold of the vet to get an answer to any question that we have. Their reminders are great if vaccinations are due and so forth; their administrative staff is great. The facility is modern and clean; it is a really good place.

They are good. When I came here first my dog was really sick and overall they have been pretty good with dog. They did follow up with me pretty well. My dog had a severe kidney infection and I went him there and they were good too but the only reason I stopped going was because they were very far from where I live. So I had to take him every week which was annoying. They were too expensive but for the care I got for the dog it was fine.

I have no complaints. They were recommended to us by someone in the area and they were very good.

I brought in my dog, who'd thrown up after eating something stinky outside. They ran a lot of tests, wanted to run more, also tried to sell expensive bland canned food (chicken and rice is fine, thank you). They are very competent, but there is a steady push to sell sell, sell, whether it's meds or tests, even when the dog is not sick. Now, they won't even give heartworm pills after dog has been taking them regularly-- need to come for a $100 visit. I'm looking for a new vet.

They are Very Very easy to talk to. They enjoy explaining things to you which is rare in doctors. They take the time with you and definitely doesn't rush you.

Everyone in this place seems crazy about animals. They make you feel like your pet is the most beautiful and special one they've ever seen! I've gone to other vets that seem to push expensive tests and procedures, or recommend costly food (purchased from them) but this place has never done that. I trust them and feel that they value my pets' health instead of just wanting to make a quick buck by guilting or scaring me into excessive treatment. They are patient and do their best to make animals comfortable and as calm as possible.

I have an old dog, but it always seems as though they request the maximum amount of tests. This is fine, but it gets very expensive! Use your judgment, and ask their opinion, but not all tests are needed.

My newly adopted dog had a history of heartworm, yet the Vet at Valley Vet that did her first exam after adoption did not do a blood test to make sure that she was totally cured. One year later we came back for the next annual check up, and another Vet that examined her said my dog should have been checked for heartworm at the first visit. A blood test was then done which showed she DID have heartworms and subsequently we learned that her heart was affected. Also, I have called the office on two occasions for urgent help - once when our dog ate rodent poison, and once when she appeared to have trouble breathing. On both occasions, the staff person answering the phone just referred us elsewhere, and with zero empathy and zero information.

Not only are they professional, caring, and reasonably priced, but they have gone above and beyond on repeated occasions. When one of my cats were diagnosed with a fatal illness, they gave me as much info as possible and always made clear what my options were. When he lost the battle for his life, because of the severity of his inherited disease, the vet took the time to answer plenty of questions about his death and how I should handle things with his litter-mate (who I still have). She was very patient and knowledgeable. They also screened his litter-mate at no charge (a procedure that costs hundreds of dollars) for the same disease. Lastly, they made a donation in my diseased cats' name to a local animal shelter. They helped me through a very difficult time. Furthermore, they always call to follow up on my cats about problems at recent visits, etc. I LOVE THIS VET!!! I strongly recommend them and my gratitude toward them will never fade. Thank you Valley Vet!
