I would imagine that every one who has ever built a home has some horror stories to tell about the process. That was the case with us and Kohl, but in the end Kohl was very willing to make everything right, and that is really all we could ask. Now a few years later we are very happy with the quality of the construction, and the continued willingness of Kohl to make things right.

Regrettably, Kohl construction is not the same company since its founder died. It used to offer prompt communication, absolutely impeccable service, immediate response to any problems. No longer. Messages are returned with one-word responses - if they're returned at all. Promises made, not kept. It's really a disgrace to founder Doug Kohl. I won't use them again.
