+ -1 moreThe work went as planned, except perhaps that three - not just two - layers of old shingle were found. All were removed without any extra charge. The work took three days, with three or four hustling roofers on cool December days.
Description of Work: A leaking asphalt shingled roof on a stand-alone garage and an equally old roof on the house were replaced. Incidental to this, a ridge vent and a hood for a bathroom fan were installed on the roof. The old shingles, thought to be two layers thick, were to be removed from the house and properly disposed of.
