Lets start by stating that I'm an Electrical Engineer. This is a 2 part process, rough electrical and finish electrical. The rough appeared to be OK, except they didn't finish the rough electrical in the master bedroom. Instead of installing the second ceiling light electrical box, they just left the wire hanging. Then they failed to come back the next day to complete it. Later when progress was delayed, I decided to check how they wired these master bedroom changes. I found out that the wire hanging from the ceiling about 2 ft down was "live" every time I turned on the center light (which still had a working light until it was to be switch to a fan). Luckily we are not tall people. If someone was tall or hit it with their hand they could have got 120 volts! This was dangerous! Not having left their contact info, and with the GC not very responsive I hired an electrician to fix it. That cost me $175. Later I finally tracked them down by looking at the permits at the town hall. I called them and explained what happened. I mentioned that I had some other small electrical work that they could do to make up for it. They flat out refused!
