From the first phone call that was promptly answered by Dr. Barans wife Martina it was a great experience.
Everything from the blood work to the recovery instructions was explained, no surprises.
The surgery went well and we picked up Brandy the next day with all the instructions and medicine necessary untill our next appointment. Each day during the recovery we would receive a call from Dr. Baran or Martina checking in on Brandys progress. This is better service and treatment than I get from my doctor.
Dr. Barans years of experience combined with martinas management skills turned out to be the perfect combination.

Dr. Baran has treated my dog for routine, emergency and surgical services. All are handled very professionally and he has never misdiagnosed or treated him poorly. I have a 14 year old, 90 pound black lab - lots of love at home and great veterinary care has led to his longevity!!

Dr. Bonan was right on time, took the time to get to know the dog, gave him treats, did examine, explained it all and left.  He does house call which makes animal care easier with the 3 cats and one dog.

He is always on time & very professional, as well as a very caring vet.  Reasonably priced.

They are very helpful and thorough. They always come to the house which is less stressful for everybody and they are always around when I need them.

Dr. Baran makes house calls. It's wonderful to have a small animal vet who does this, especially for cats. He has access to a veterinary hospital in the area for surgeries, tests, etc. He recently came to examine my 13+ yr old dog who was becoming incontinent, having trouble climbing stairs and keeping her footing on wood floors. He performed blood and urine tests and determined she had a urinary tract infection. Prescribed anitbiotics and an anti-inflammatory medicine to help with her lack of coordination. After a week on the meds, she is much better. She hasn't wet her bed in a couple of days, gets around a bit better and is more alert. He has cared for our house pets for many years and I highly recommend him.
