it's been a nightmare. He supposedly ordered cabinets for the kitchenin September, but they haven't come in. I found out the order was cancelled due to nonpayment. Many of his subcontractors walked out on the project. The electrical and flooring had to be found through other contractors. The biggest issue has been a lack of communication. Now I'm just trying to get my money back since he appears to be in over his head

We had considered 6 different companies for the job, and picked Kitchen Art based on their level of service, the fact that they cover all aspects of the job from initial design through completion of the project, and ability to help us design our dream kitchen. We didn't fully know what we wanted at the start, but after a few back and forth discussions with Rob he presented us with an overall design that wowed us on the spot. Rob, Kathy, and Chris continued to help us with each of the many decisions as the job progressed. We also added other items into the job as it progressed, such as fixing up a couple issues we had in the surrounding rooms, and they were very accommodating in adding in the additional tasks. Kitchen Art managed all the subcontractors and schedule. There were a few delays and other minor glitches that came up over time, as can be expected on any large project, but we were happy with how they handled and fixed any concerns we had. The carpenter, Chris, did great work throughout the project and stayed late a few days to get things done when needed.
The end result of the project was a remodeled downstairs for our house that met the look and functionality we wanted better than we could have described at the start. The quality was great as well, and we've had a large number of compliments on it already.

We're thrilled with our new kitchen and enjoy using it on a daily basis.
Kitchen Art of New England worked with our schedule, which began in fits and starts, and then went fairly quickly once we committed to a start date. There were a few hiccups along the way, but in all cases Sandy and Dan took care of things. When Dan became ill late in the project, they added another person to the team to wrap things up.
