The owner, Jim, sprayed for wasps and treated the yard for ticks and mosquitoes. We were happy with both services. He explained what he was doing, appeared to be very thorough, and guaranteed his work. We noticed a definite decrease in insect activity after the treatments.

This was great. They did an awesome job.

Not good. He put down some traps and said he would come back in a month to check them. He never came. I called several and left several messages and got no response. The problem never was resolved. This is a surprise because he did excellent work for us in the past and is generally a nice guy.

We were quoted a price of $185 for mouse extermination.  Jim called before he arrived and arrived punctually.  He carefully inspected our basement, pointing out where the mice were getting in.  Here's the kicker: he declined the chance to make some money.  As he told me, our situation wasn't a good one for his bait traps.  He discussed some alternatives which have already proven useful.
I wish all in-home service providers demonstrated the professionalism and ethics that Jim did.

Jim was EXCELLENT. He was very professional and friendly. He got along great with our dog and cats.  He looked at all the areas of concern and asked several questions to make sure we were missing anything.  Additionally, while he was here, we asked him questions about other pests.  We would definitely use Jim again if we had a pest issue and we would gladly recommend him to anyone.

Everything went very well. He responded to my initial service request very quickly, and he showed up the next day on time. He explained to me what he thought was going on, placed traps as appropriate, and gave me instructions on next steps. Hopefully this will take care of the problem, but he gave me a heads up that I might be dealing with more than mice.

Jim was friendly and very clear on how every thing would work.  He carefully explained why the traps would
not be a problem for our 2 cats.  We have not seen or heard any mice since he was here.

Went well....I had some very smart mice, who were avoiding the traps. After the initial consult, we were still having issues. He came back, checked traps, repositioned and reconfigured what we were doing, no charge.  So far, so good! We will see when the weather turns, but I would definitely call him back immediately if needed.

The owner showed up precisely on time for both visits and did an excellent job.  He was very professional, efficient and delivered great value.  We are very pleased to highly recommend him to others.

We've used Groton Pest Control for years. Jim is always arrives when scheduled. Our home treatment takes about 2 hours. Jim carefully explains the process and double checks to make sure what rooms will be sprayed with what. He is customer focused and takes great pride in his work. If there is a problem after treatment he quickly returns to retreat. In ten years we've only had to have that done once. If  he comes across something that  is outside what he does such as termites or wildlife problems he makes recommendations. Some years back we found that quite helpful when we had bats and flying squirrels in our attic. Although he was able to depose of a rather large hornets nest that made residence in the attic. We've also had a hornets nest under our outside deck as well as underground hornets Jim took care of both problems.
Jim is the ultimate professional who excels in his profession. I highly recommend Groton Pest Control for treatment and prevention of any insect problems you might have.

They were prompt and professional. They came the very day I called and completely the required inspection in under an hour.

The treatment was very effective.  We noticed a number of ants and other bugs around the house before we had it done, and didn't see any ants in the house the rest of the Spring/Summer after Jim came out and applied the treatment.  Jim was also very personable and gave some helpful advice on how to protect against other types of pests.
