What a beautiful store! The Menage Gallery is full of gorgeous products created by a variety of artists, artisans, designers, and crafts people. I was greeted upon entering by Heather. She was friendly, promptly introduced herself and gave me time to wonder about. Each question I had was answered with expertise & precision. The owner Ed, is a furniture maker. He creates pieces that vary in size from the most sweet little jewelry boxes & mirrors to tables, foot stools, and armoires. He is a gifted designer. The craftsmanship of each unique piece is simply impeccable. The furniture is often influenced by the clean elegant lines of the shaker style making the perfect setting to display other featured products (jewelry, pottery, boxes, and other unique items) throughout the store. It is a well planned showroom with delights to be found around every corner. I left the store with my gifts boxed & bagged and a bit of knowledge about each one. It is refreshing to purchase gifts that are unique & individual. A welcomed change from the same old, everything is the same and not particularly special, mall & catalog shopping.
