Templar Construction Company, LLC

This was the absolutely worst contractor experience of my life.  Materials were substituted and code violations were abound.   I have to do the whole job over.

Matthew Khoury/ Templar Construction exceeded our expectations when fixing our barn this past spring.  The barn proved to be a "Pandora's Box", posing a myriad of issues and interdependencies that couldn't have been anticipated during the quoting process but Matt still managed to get all the work quoted PLUS A LOT MORE (including replacing the entire roof!!!)  for the quoted price, in the time frame he said it would be done! Although more work than anticipated was necessary, no shortcuts were made and both the Engineer and building inspector we pleased.I’m not sure what this did to his profit but we are truly satisfied.  His business card says “Satisfaction Guaranteed” and that is exactly how he conducts business.  He and his crew couldn't have been more professional or productive.    At no point in the process did we feel concerned.  We found Templar construction on the internet.  Templar's quote was about the same as the others, and we chose Templar based on the attention to detail, professionalism, experience, access to talent and resources and general demeanor.  Matt made many trips out to our property to patiently explain and re-explain the work that was needed, why, and to explain the process of the permitting, the Engineers, inspections, and all the options available to us.  Communicating with Matt has been very easy.  He is extremely responsive to phone and email 24-7.   Matt and his crew took care of EVERY detail including moving our things out out of the barn, the permitting, the clean up etc.  He even gave us the tip to discuss with our neighbors the hours his crew would work so as to not disturb anyone.  This proved to be outstanding advice. Friends, family and neighbors have all made very positive comments about the work done.  One friend experienced in construction commented that "you sure got your money's worth".  Matt/Templar construction is a true gem in the business and I would highly recommend them.  We will definitely use Matt/Templar construction for our future projects.
