Doing business with JMF Construction was a wonderful experience. The owner, John, is a very experienced and talented carpenter as well as a great guy. We needed multiple repairs on the exterior of our house. He replaced and painted trim boards, deck flooring, 2nd floor window trim, an attic vent, and fixed railings. He also mitered boards when necessary. When we said we had some lattice that needed to be replaced, he looked at it and said he could fix it to save us money. He did and it looks wonderful. John was on time every day and worked nonstop. He never took time out for lunch. After he repaired the attic vent, a small bit of painting was required. Instead of stopping at that, he continued painting the siding way beyond the vent area that needed it. It now looks like it did when it was last painted. All this on a very hot day on an even hotter roof. No matter how tired he must have been running up and down ladders, and dragging them around the house, he left each work area spotless every day. We highly recommend JMF Construction. We are so happy we've found John.

Our house had significant rotting siding, trim, fascia board, window sills, and was in desperate need of a paint job. We were lucky to hire John, he is trustworthy, detail oriented, and goes above and beyond to make the homeowner happy. He and his crew spent two weeks at our house. He was willing to add on a number of side projects while he was there such as replacing a door and storm door, plugging holes on our foundation, and patching water damage in our house. Our house looks amazing, we cannot recommend John enough and would hire him again without hesitation.

If I could give 10 stars I would. John came out and collaborated on best solution to repair Carpenter Bee and Woodpecker damage to my Facia, Rafter Tails and Rake Boards, Cleaned siding repaired decks, painted trim and installed new deck. The whole house looks brand new. He always left the yard neat and clean every day. He was always efficient, professional and courteous, always keeping us in the loop of progress. I would definitely recommend John.

John and his crew did a great job installing trim (windows & baseboards) for the second floor of my house after a major reconstruction effort. Working with him was painless during scheduling and estimating. He was professional while onsite and the quality of his work was very high. I plan on hiring him again for future exterior finishing work and would highly recommend him without reservation.

John did an excellent job repairing, replacing, and painting the trim and fascia boards around the house. John came out promptly and gave a fair quote for the job, then completed the project in a timely manner. He is very professional and friendly, and tidied up his workspace every day before he left. We've never experienced a more hard working and efficient contractor, he literally worked from the time he arrived until the time he left. We would definitely hire John again, and highly recommend his services to anyone!

I've met John the owner --he was very polite , direct and always on time. He accepted my small bathroom remodelling project and work within my budget suggesting better ways to go with the remodelling without spending a lot of money. He is very knowledgeable, experienced and very honest guy who takes pride on doing quality work. He and his crew transformed my old and boring bathroom into a warm welcoming beautiful space in my house. The work outcome is very professional and impressive.It was done with care and accuracy to my satisfaction. I think they are a genuine company who does quality work for your money. I would highly recommend this company to everybody.

The project started well but ended with unfinished work and my tiles cracking and popping up. He seemed like a honorable guy but I was wrong. I wouldn't let him change a light bulb.

Exceeded expectations in quality of the work, fair value and great customer service. John calls or texts expected arrival time then comes when he says he's going to come. When he and the crew leave at the end of the day the area is clean. Materials are neatly stored and any areas that might be a danger are clearly blocked off. His crew were hard working, polite and a pleasure to have around. Working from home I was a little concerned about having strangers working on the house but it worked out fine. John offered options but there was never any sales pressure. He took on a three-season room, deck and back patio and got it done in time for the summer. We appreciated his ability to handle all aspects of our project. John works hard, makes sure that the job is done right and that it's to the customer's satisfaction. My husband and I are loving our new three season room. John is working on another project for us already. Glad we found him! My husband and I highly recommend him.

JMF construction was professional and was able to finish the project in a timely manner. Always called before coming and supervised the crewi responsibility. Responded quickly to any concerns and interfaced with the building inspector so standards were maintained.

John not only did minor trim repair, but he and his crew repaired a floor that had been installed incorrectly and trimmed it out, He also washed (by hand so as to not hurt the plants around the deck), pounded in nails and resurfaced our 38 foot deck. They did an outstanding job.

I received JMF Construction's contact information from HomeAdvisor. John, from JMF, returned my phone call right away. We set up a date and time for him to come by to review the work needed. He called me a half hour before his arrival as promised, and he arrived on time. John promptly provided an estimate, and we set up a date and time for him to do the work. He called the day before to confirm, and again he arrived on time. I cannot say enough great things about John. I had a number of repairs needed; broken and slipped cedar shingles, roof repair, masonry work around the bulkhead, and a sink that needed to be replaced. The quality of his work was excellent, his pricing was reasonable and he completed the work within the time he quoted. He also spotted and addressed a few additional repairs needed without additional charges. When the work was completed, we did a walk though. He also told me he would follow up with me in a few days to ensure that everything was as expected. It is difficult to find a good contractor who not only provides high quality work but is also reasonably priced. And John is just that, a true professional.

It was an excellent experience. They were on time every day, they worked hard, had great prices and completed the work quickly.
