We have used them several times and they are always prompt and courteous.  The service they provide is great and we will continue to use them.

At the recommendation of our home inspector we needed to bring in a specialist in chimneys before proceeding with the home purchase.  I needed to get someone in fairly quickly due to the dates of the P&S we needed to adhere to.  Being early fall many chimney sweeps were unavailable.  George and his wife Rose were extremely helpful and found a time in their schedule to fit in my inspection.  He inspected all 3 chimneys and made recommendations.  There were areas he thought were best to talk to a mason about and he gave us a recommendation for that as well.
WOuld use him again.

Originally came out in September for chimney inspection/cleaning.  Was polite, explained everything, didn't mind questions.  Shortly after had issues with damper.  Came out that evening.  Thoroughly inspected and reviewed options.  New damper installed within a week.

Overall it was an excellent experience.

Mr. Rose arrived and inspected the chimney cap that had fallen off and determined that the weld was broken and it had to be replaced. He set up his ladders and replaced the cap, inspected the chimney and completed his work in about 30 minutes. He told me the chimney did not need cleaning. He cheerfully answered all my questions. He even filled out the warranty card for the new chimney cap. All I had to do was put on a stamp and mail it! He charged me a grand total of $125. Had he needed to clean the chimney it would have cost an additional $125. I would definitely recommend him.

Overall, he did a very good job. He worked very neatly. He was very pleasant and arrived on time, very fairly priced for worked that was done. I would highly recommend Georgetown Chimney Sweep.

Mr. Rose did a excellent job. He was on-time. Got right to work. Described exactly what he was doing and the results of his inspection. Made a few very good recommendations. Also described that my chimney flashing needed replacement. He however, no longer does that particular task. Overall an excellent tradesman! We will use him again.
