My brakes went out when i was shopping out of town, so the next day I went to Meinieke brakes in Gardner MA. When I went in and explained what happened and what i needed done, he warned me right way that it was probably going to be expensive, based on how quickly the brakes went. I was leaving it at the garage and having someone pick me up, when i was waiting, they turned away 3 people for other work that day. I was there right at 7:30 when they opened, and they were already full. I am glad that they were able to fit me in since it was an emgerency. When i left, he told me that he would call with an estimate. By 9:30, they had called with the estimate of $1,200, and that the car should be ready around 1:00. He clearly stated that the reason for the long time was that he had to send someone to Worcester to some parts from the Subaru warehouse. Around 1:30 they still had not called, so i called them to see if car was ready, it was, but they just did not have time to call me.. So i got my ride to bring me to pick it up. The total bill was right what they told me after a coupon i found on line.
I would recommend them because they did a good job on the brakes, and were very willig to fit me in their overcrowded schedule.
