Description of Work: After considerable review of various stair lifts I went with Stannah. I would have given them an overall 'A' except for installation problems. The installer was a pleasant person, but was new regarding the installation of our lift. Because of this, he had to receive phone support throughout the installation. This extended the installation an additional hour than the original estimate. The installer also should have consulted me before making any final screw holes. After installation, I noted several deficiencies and contacted the home office. They immediately sent a person to review the work and my concerns. He then immediately had a senior installed expedited to make any necessary corrections. |The response from Stannah was exceptional when I forwarded to them my concerns. They responded right away without question and resolved the issues that I had. The lift hardware is top notch.

 + -1 moreTechs arrived at 9:15 AM as scheduled. Inspected site, tested outlet, measured installation, fabricated rail on truck, installed, wired, cleaned, lubricated, and educated us. Instructed my wife and test rode. Thorough, knowledgeable, friendly techs.
Description of Work: Technician installed stairlift rail to stairs, ran plug to previously installed outlet (electrician) and wired assembly. Tested lift, cleaned thoroughly, and lubricated chain drive.

 + -1 moreRICH SELAH CAME TO GIVE US THE ESTIMATE. HE WAS VERY HELPFUL AND POLITE. THE BEST THING ABOUT STANNAH IS THAT THEY SELL USED CHAIRS FOR THE STAIR-LIFT. THAT CUT THE PRICE TO ALMOST HALF. NOBODY ELSE COULD OFFER ME A USED, AFFORDABLE STAIR-LIFT IN THE AREA.
