SMALL JOBS

Initially they were prompt to respond to my call, kept promises and had 3 good references. Once the work began, it became evident they couldn't manage the sequence of work, find solutions to anticipated tasks or do basic finished carpentry work. I ended up finding the subcontractor to install the hood, ducting and glass tiles. We made SJ fix the installation of the hood vent on the exterior of my house since about 5" of flexible duct was exposed and poorly caulked. The rework was shocking and unsatisfactory since they cut out the clapboards on my house exposing the substrait. The fascia and crown molding was very sloppy and clearly not the work of a finish carpenter. Due to poor project management, the original schedule of 8-10 days ended up taking over 4 weeks. I felt my project was simple and small, yet it took up too much of my time finding solutions that I hired Small Jobs to do.
