Terrible experience! He took advantage of a naïve senior citizen and pushed for a lower sale price, suggesting that I sell to this interested buyer before my house officially went on the market, thereby saving himself advertising costs, because he doubted I would realize a better price from any other buyer. Even after all this time, his machinations still rankle me and I mentally lash myself for not doing my homework: investigating the type of legal contracts allowed in Massachusetts, opting for an outside price evaluation, and hiring a lawyer to look into all the details of the house sale and contract.
