Just Call Keith

Keith is friendly and a hard worker but the overall experience was bad.  On the day that the materials arrived, I had to help move all of the fencing into place as Keith was supposed to have someone with him but they could not be there.  I asked what the 4X4s were for and Keith told me that they were only there as weight on top of the materials so that they would not blow away.  Keith then immediately went to work and worked hard all day.  He was not able to finish and needed to come back to finish the gate in the fence.  When he did, he put the latch on wrong and then had to redo it, leaving holes where the orignal placemet was.  It was still wrong at the end of the day.   I paid Keith the remaining amount due only to find that the gate did not work.  When I called repeatedly I got no response.  I had to have another fence company come out and informed me that most of the posts were no put in correctly and that the gate should have had 4x4's in the posts by the gate because of the extra weight of the gate.  I was told that the additional cost that I paid for the "premium" panels was not true and I got middle of the road panels and not what I paid for.  Keith came highly recommended and unfortuntately it was a very disappointing experience.  

He cleaned up the mess. He did a good job. The workmanship was very good. I don’t really know of anything that I dislike. I would definitely hire him again. I would definitely use his services again in the future.

It took him forever to do the job, probably because of financial difficulties; it took him six months to do the work, and he wanted to get paid before finishing the work. I would not recommend him for other projects; his price is a bargain, but it might take a little while to get the work done. I would not use him in the future.

We were in the process of getting an appraisal for a refinancing of our mortgage. The appraiser noticed the lack of a side door entry to the house, which was removed earlier for safety reasons, and wouldn't provide an appraisal until a new set of stairs were installed. We needed something quick..nothing fancy but would meet code. Keith called us back quickly. He offered alternatives to try and save us money and time on the work. The stairs and deck he built were of high quality and did the job. Extremely nice guy to work with and very hard working. Left the job site clean. One caution....Keith does have other obligations professionally and personally. This resulted in several delays of the project. You will need to be patient in getting his services. In the end, the stairs were approved by the appraiser and built in time for our refinance deadline. Thank goodness...and Thanks to Keith!

His work was very detail oriented. He made sure everything was done correctly. He was very nice and personable. The price was pretty reasonable as well.

Keith came out and measured the spaces and consulted with me on options to fill with windows and mullions. Once we decided on the materials he ordered them for me at his cost. To make a long story short, in the process of pulling out the sills that we knew were rotted, we discovered extensive rot in the studs and walls of the porch, along with some very slipshod original construction/design of the porch floor. It is a wonder the entire thing hadn't collapsed over the years. You may ask how this wasn't discovered earlier, but it required some rip-out to see (no one bidding saw it). I was very happy that I had hired a skilled carpenter rather than just a "window guy" to do the job because it quickly turned in to a carpentry job much more than a window job. Not only that, but Keith did not take advantage of my bad luck and charged very fairly for his time and did not mark up the cost of any of his materials. Finally, the quality of his work was excellent and he stands behind it.
