We built a new construction home and having a wood burning fireplace was a non negotiable for us when making decisions on what we wanted. This was an important piece, particularly on the inside. We got Joe's name through a friend and could not have been more pleased with how everything turned out. He showed up when he said he would, his quote was spot on and he took what we had thought up and created exactly it. We ran into a problem with how our foundation was poured and how our fireplace frame was installed (none of those pieces were Joe's responsibilities). Initially we thought we were going to have to recut our foundation chimney base but Joe helped us think through a solution that cost us very little and we didn't have to touch the foundation (we did have to add a slab off the initial base). Joe then shaped the the chimney with the brick very well so the base flowed seamlessly. Finally the interior stone mantle was even better than we were hoping. We have received so many comments from others asking about who did the work and how much they loved our fireplace. Good guy and great work.
