We had a great experience working with Steve. He took apart and built a very large composite deck for us. Anytime we had questions, Steve was responsive and gave us knowledgeable, straight forward information. The project took less than three weeks. Steve has an easy going style and we actually missed him after the project was over. His quote was best in town. We enjoy our new deck every day and are happy to have finally done it. I would highly recommend Steve for any home improvement project. He rebuilt our deck with composite, and replaced our windows with 6â sliders. He arrived when he said he would, worked consistently throughout the day and finished the project on time. He is a perfectionist and takes pride in his work and the finished outcome. He left my home after spotlessly cleaning up and leaving nothing behind. We are very pleased with our deck and sliders and would 100% recommend him.

Steve and his crew far exceeded my expectations on the screen porch build they recently finished. The quality of the job is fantastic. On top of that, Steve was right on time for the first estimate meeting, to the delivery of the materials, to the start and finish dates of the project (2 days from start to finish. The price was fair and there were no surprises. Steve also recommended we use a composite material, called Azek to trim the job out. Gorgeous! You can stop looking and just hire Howland Home Services for your project. You will not be disappointed!

Working with Steve was a dream experience. He responded quickly to our request for a quote. He went above and beyond on the job (for example he patched some concrete work that now looks fantastic). I actually ended up hiring Steve for my entire home renovation project. He was super knowledgeable, efficient and helped me with a ton of stuff even outside his original scope of work because he is just such a great guy. We already have him coming back to do more work this winter!

Steve was prompt in contacting me and on his visits. He is very professional and took the time to review with me what had to be done and his costs were reasonable. The work was done and looks great . Cleanup was spotless and I definitely would hire him again.

Steve responded immediately on a Sunday by phone. He visited the site promptly to estimate the job and then scheduled the work within a week. Estimate was very reasonable and work product was great. Steve took care of a wide range of fixes, some of which were a little tricky. I was ecstatic to get prompt and excellent service at a great price. I would certainly ask for Steve again the next time I need help.
