He didn't show up the day that he planned to come and didn't contact me in advance. After two days he said that his family member went to ER that day. I understood that and still gave him this job. He told me that when I need to reset the passcode of the lock, he would come again. By then he didn't leave any instructions. Nowadays, when I called him, he didn't reply to me. I don't think he is a reliable business man. Also, for the quality of the job, it is just so so. 

Positives: - local - very responsive - courteous - did exactly what I requested and helpfully suggested rekeying two existing old but well-made locks. Negatives: - I was left to cleanup the mess, especially sawdust from drilling - One of the rekeyed locks was misaligned with the strike plate and would not latch. The problem was likely an existing one and it was corrected when asked to fix it. - would not take check, but did accept credit card - lock sets were manufactured by Maxtech, which didn't seem to match the quality of other locksets like Schlage. For example the key doesn't fit the lockset smoothly, it takes more than one try to successfully insert the key into the lockset. Update 5/9/2016: Was initially concerned about the quality of the work but after using the locks for several days I came very pleased with them. The inlaid difficulty of inserting the key disappeared after a few days of use. One of the severalspare keys that were left with medidn't work well but that was a problem with the way the key was cut, not with the lock. No problem with any of the other keys. I am happy with the word done and would definitely use them again.

They were very good and reliable. His price was good and he did the work promptly. He did give me the Angie's List discount. He's fine, available and he showed up when I needed him to show up. I don't have any complaints or concerns with them.

They were quick to respond and very professional.
