Went fine until I had the attic inspected by MassSave. right after the roof work was completed.  Discovered it wasn't vented on the peak, per the contract.  The owner of Franco Roofing checked it out also and agreed the work wasn't done.  The workers did come back to perform the work as required.  But the owner never came back again for a physical inspection.

I did a lot of research before choosing Mike Franco.  He quoted me a great price and came in with superior knowledge and honesty.  He was also recommended to me by a friend.  Mike basically followed through on everything he said he would do.  First of all, the job was scheduled quickly and was finished in one day.  He really focuses on customer service.  He recommended covering some flashing near my dormered windows that makes the house look so much better.  His crew came in and worked hard, efficiently, and cleaned up thoroughly when they were done.  It was so quick and painless. They even replaced some wood for me at no additional cost.  I will be giving his name out every chance I get.  I was extremely impressed.

Mike was very professional and easy to work with; the job was well done; and the price was excellent.
Our old roof had reached the end of its useful life... several small leaks had appeared in various places in the house and with each rain, they were getting more pronounced.  We contacted 3 potential contractors; one never responded, one called back two weeks later, Mike called within 24 hours.  He came out to look at the job, discussed the work with us, and gave us a detailed and very fairly priced proposal.  The plan was to wait a few weeks for good weather - unless there was a real spring like stretch.   
Two weeks later, with a predicted stretch of several unseasonably warm days, Mike called, asked if we wanted to get going.  The next morning, the materials were delivered; later that day, the dumpster arrived.  The crew was on site early the following morning.  The old roof was stripped by 10AM; the job was pretty much finished and fairly well cleaned up by sunset - with the promise that they would be back first thing in the morning to do a thorough clean up. 
True to his word, Mike and a couple of his men arrived early in the morning, did a thorough inspection of the entire yard, adjusted a couple of small things, and finished the clean up  by 10:30 AM. The dumpster was removed later that day.
All in all, a job we had been dreading was painless.  Four months later, the roof looks great and there are no more leaks.
