We are so pleased with our new roof.  We have an old house and a challenging roof with numerous peaks, etc.  We obtained several estimates, some low, some ridiculously high and others in the middle.  Franco Roofing was not the lowest but was an extremely fair price for the quality and workmanship.  There were no surprises or issues from start to finish.  Mike Franco answers his phone and responds to you in a timely manner, how refreshing is that?  He is straightforward, professional and knows his stuff.  The job was done in 1 1/2 days from tearing off the old roof and installing the new one.  I could not believe it.  The place was so tidy when they were finished.  No issues or problems with his crew, who have worked for Mike for a long time. 

We chose CertainTeed Landmark Pro shingles in "Weathered Wood."  It was a tough decision to pick the type and color but we absolutely love the Weathered Wood on our "old" house; it looks terrific.  We would not hesitate to recommend Mike Franco roofing!

They were prompt and their work was very good. They cleaned up well after themselves. I couldn't say more good things about them. There were 8 crew members and they were done within the day. They followed up with me after the work was done to make sure I was satisfied.

I will definitely not use them again. They caused a flood on New Year’s Eve. To begin with, we were getting the roof redone because of water issues. They came on New Year’s Eve and left the roof open. They left it untarped or something. The roof was open when it snowed. I called them and they came out the next day. However, they should not have left it untarped especially when there was a snow storm. My insurance company is dealing with them. They were sloppy. There was debris all over the place outside. They left unfinished work. Flood water could definitely come in through our roof. Personally, I would not recommend them. I did not think they were responsible at all. Instead of fixing the problem they were out here for, they caused additional damage. The whole reason why they were coming out here was to fix the particular problem from a couple of years ago and they actually made it worse. I ended up with buckets in my living room. They repaired it and I am hoping it is done properly now. I guess time will tell. It was done through the condo board. I wish I knew that the board was hiring someone or I would have told them that I would go on to Angie’s List. However, I am not on the condo board. I did not hire them personally and I will not hire them in future. I will not recommend them to anyone. They did not do what they were out here to do. They came out the next day but I think it was because I called them about 50 times. I have not seen anymore water since New Year’s Eve but we will have to see how the roof holds up. They did come back out the next day but nobody called me to say that they were coming back out. They were not professional at all. I had to stay home on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day until I actually saw the people. Further, the people who came out did not speak English.
