Furniture Refinishing
Staff to pick up and then later deliver the bedframes were very professional--polite, efficient, and cautious.
We had been told that it would take 4 to 8 weeks to repair wood components, but more likely closer to 4 weeks as none of the beds required any refinishing work--only structural.
Had to follow up after the 8 weeks came and went; we were having company for Christmas and one bedroom was completely unusable without the two missing bedframes. FINALLY, the beds were delivered the Friday before the 10 week mark. Very disappointed in bedframing work on the king size bed as: 1. the structure raised the box springs and mattress very high (almost covering the headboard completely); 2. the supporting framework had numbers written all over for assembly (okay, you cannot figure out to do this under the frame so the numbers do not show); and 3. a supporting leg was added and completely visible at the footboard end of the bed AND the supporting leg was an unfinished raw wood with a cheap white plastic foot cap showing!
Further, the mahogany stained, supporting bed board (running from the headboard to footboard and down the middle of the bed frame) was missing. Asked to get the cheap, unfinished supporting foot removed and the mahogany supportive board returned. About two weeks later, they came and removed the horrible foot support and tried to give a short (shorter than I am), mangled board with two bent nails in it as the mahogany board. Ridiculous---the board left in excellent condition with the Baker Furniture bedframe and this piece of junk was its replacement? Obviously, a massive inventory control issue OR an internal theft challenge exists!

Furniture Refinishing
They were excellent but their pricing was a lot. They are the place I would go to when I have valuable furniture which has to be refinished. My furniture looked brand new once they finished working on it and now after five years it still looks fabulous. Their craftsmanship is excellent and they have good knowledge about quality furniture. They are a big and really well equipped shop.
