He quoted $400 was minimum to get a crew out to our house for 3 hours work. I asked if he thought they could accomplish what
was needed in 3 hours and he said yes. I said ok. He said the next step was that he would send me out a proposal and if I agreed to terms, to sign it and call to set up appointment. Never received a proposal, also he showed up in a sleeveless t shirt and shorts - I know landscapers work dressed like this however, usually when an owner comes out to give you an estimate, they look cleaned up even if they are wearing jeans and a t shirt. Not a good personality for and owner. I believe he left with no intention of taking the job because it was too small.

Generally pleased with the outcome. They took more time than expected building the wall, but it came out nice. They kept a clean work site and finished all expected work. They also provided soem very good ideas for some ad-hoc work that was needed.
