Jamaal was extremely responsive and professional. We received draft plans and then final plans promptly. His efficiency, expertise and attention to detail is unmatched.

I recently had my kitchen remodeled by Yusra Design & Build, and I am absolutely thrilled with the results. The team was professional, efficient, and creative, and they exceeded my expectations in every way. I started the process by meeting with Jamaal, the owner, to discuss my vision for the kitchen. We had two full baths done at the same time while we continued to live in the home. Two high anxiety dogs and needed a temp shower installed for a family of four. This created a lot of challenges that Jamaal and his team handled excellently. On time, on budget. Everyone at the house was very nice, easy to work with. And Jamaal did a great job helping navigate two people with different ideas for the bathrooms. Thank you so much! Great working with you guys.

Overall did a great job, the reception halls after completion looked beautiful and beyond my expectation, good job by Jamaal and his team. They were professional and always available to answer our questions even outside business hours. Jamaal also helped with recommendation on things that were out of his scope of work and I really appreciate that.

We are remodeling our kitchen from the studs up and wanted an architect to design our kitchen to make sure the new appliances, cabinets, flooring, lighting, large window, workstation sink, custom hood all went with each other and fit perfectly. We were referred to YDB by our contractor. Jamaal designed our kitchen. As with any remodeling we changed our mind a few times as we worked our way to a design we liked. Jamaal was patient with us as he went thru a few iterations of re-designing and re-renderings. He is courteous, professional, knowledgeable, has good ideas, and an eye for chic. YDB fees are also reasonable. We are waiting on our contractor to start the remodeling work and will post back when the install is complete on how everything came together.

Jamaal was a pleasure to work with on our home renovation project. He was great at collaborating and sharing ideas throughout the design process, and was involved every step of the way through the renovation itself, helping us make our vision a reality. Jamaal was on-time with everything and very professional. I especially appreciated that he got the drawings correctly, both the existing space and what we envisioned, on the first iteration with minimal back and forth. He created cool designs for things we did not think of instead of asking us for every detail and just made the whole process very smooth. The blueprints were very professional and he was willing to educate us on how the engineering and stamping process works without being offended with our ignorance which is much appreciated.Glad to have worked with Jamaal and looking forward to working with him again in the future.

He hopped right on the project, asked clarifying questions to understand what I was looking for, set up an appointment to view the property promptly in the very near term, showed up on time, delivered preliminary drawings ahead of schedule, asked more questions and made revisions, offered a creative solution or two which I did not envision for the project, made further revisions once demo revealed opportunities. He's really easy to work with. Highly recommend.
