 + -1 moreThe project was done later than promised. According to the general contractor, Vivat added more than $3000 to the cost for a couple of hours of crane time and a couple of guys placing the two skylights on the roof. This was unexpectedly high. I'm the owner of the building and had suggested to my architect that he use Vivat as a skylight vendor. I paid all of the bills (through the general contractor) and, when tax time came around, asked Vivat for an invoice. Bruce Barth of Vivat refused and wrote back "we are unaware of any involvement of yours in this project". We won't be using them for Phase 2. (Fortunately I have enough involvement with the project to decide who the vendors are!)
Description of Work: Installed some skylights quoted at about $15,500. This was in the middle of a fairly flat roof covering a 1-story building (mixed office/residential use).
