The man was very nice, he tried to clear the piping but it couldn't be done, I don't blame him. The piping seemed to be clogged with roots or something. He warned me beforehand that it may not work. He was suppose to charge me $225 but he only charged $150, which was a break. I would call them again if I had a problem with clogged piping.

Great. Carlos arrived on time, was professional and neat. He tested the disposal to make sure that wasn't the problem, then problem. He vacuumed out all of the water from the sink, then disconnected the disposal to get the rooter in the drain pipe. He finished, cleaned up and was done in 20 minutes

Excellent Company. The main sewer line out of our house to the septic tank was blocked (turned out to be a smallish clump of roots). We called Rooter-Man in Framingham at 8:45 a.m.. Phone was answered by fast, cheerful, professional man. We explained the problem ( we already had the cap to the main line open in our basement--took my husband days to get the cap to the old cast iron cap off--had sat there for 60 years). The man quoted us price for clearing the main line ($245) and gave us a window (from 10 - 12 a.m. same day). The gentleman who came out was fast, professional, and clear. He threaded his cutter/auger electric tool through the septic, cut the roots out. Done in under 40 minutes and charged the agreed on price. USE THESE PEOPLE. They do what they say, when they say it, for the price they quoted. We are people who do EVERYTHING ourselves, but this time we trusted this business, and it was a good decision.

It took a lot of work. Rooter Man out on a Sunday. They could not get the problem resolved that day because, due to an issue with toilet installation, they could not get the toilet off to gain better access to drain. Two bathrooms shared the same drain. They assured me they would be back the next day with additional help which they were. They showed up and were now able to gain access because the toilet had been removed by the contractors. It turns out that some construction debris had become lodged during a renovation project. After a good deal of work, they were able to find the clog and clear it. The pricing seemed fair and they were very professional throughout the process. I would highly recommend Rooter Man in Framingham.

What appeared to be weekend fiasco, could not have gone better if faced with similar issue. Waste water backing up in basement sink and called rooter man in Framingham early Sunday AM and I believe it could not have done better job. Called office and women was very polite and took info. Service Tech PJ called me right back and arrived at house on time and could not have been more professional. We discussed what might be going on, reviewed options and he went to work. I thought issue was a little more challenging than I expected, but PJ struck with it and did what needed to do to finally clean line as roots seemed to have grown in the pipe. PJ had great way about him - explained everything, very throughout and cleaned up the work area. This is 3rd time have used this company over past 5 years or so and could not be happier. As side note, price was also very competitive - feared for worse as needed service during Sunday, but not nearly what I expected. All good for sure.

They came out to address a sewage blockage issue. They snaked the blockage by removing the toilet and incorrectly diagnosed the root cause and said our first floor toilet had to be replaced. So we did that. Issue came back 3 months later. Got them to come back out. They charged us again for the same process, only this time the technician uncapped the main sewage line in our basement and saw that our septic pipe was sheared. I didn't get a convincing answer as to why the first technician didn't uncap the sewage line to properly diagnose the issue. They also re-installed the toilet improperly, so I hired a plumber to fix the issue. I called to complain about their negligence and bad workmanship, they owned up to none of their missteps.
Response from Rooter Man
"During the first visit, the main line was snaked via the toilet being removed & serviceman could hear it clear after snaking since the line was full initially. It's not regular practice to open the cap after m/l is clear especially when the serviceman felt like it was a normal blockage. Approx. 4 months later the m/l backed up again & the job was done the same way at a discounted rate. This time however, the serviceman could only clear the blockage if there was no cutter on the end of his snake. This prompted him to open the cap after the main line was clear to possibly see if there was a visible issue with the pipe without the added expense of a video camera inspection. He found the pipe had separated just past the foundation. As far as replacing the toilet, during the first visit the serviceman noticed the toilet was old & recommended replacing it. The homeowner purchased a toilet & hired a plumber to install it. The toilet could've been returned to the store if the plumber didn't agree with our evaluation. After snaking the main line, we did not re-install the toilet improperly & all work is warranted. If the customer called our office we would've responded to make it right at no cost to him. The customer did call our office with concerns & spoke to the manager but he did not seem to understand the situation with his pipe."

Called early afternoon to schedule an appointment for a clogged kitchen sink. Was told that someone would be at the house that day by 4:00. Service man was there before 4:00 and within a half hour the problem was fixed. He snaked the kitchen line. Received a 90 day guarantee. I used a $20 on line coupon which was deducted from the bill. Person who scheduled the appointment and serviceman were very professional.

Called in about a drain problem at around 9:30. Was told that service man would arrive between 11 AM to 1 PM. Paul shows up at 12:40 tools in hand. I show him the problem. He spent a few minutes diagnosing and went to work WITH BOOTIES ON HIS SHOES so as not to mess my floors or carpets. At 1:05 PM I was settling the bill as the job was done. Came with 90 day warranty too!

I was able to get an appointment the next day after I called. He showed up on time, he was professional and courteous, he had everything he needed and got to work right away. He was finished in less than 90 minutes and cleaned up after himself like nothing had happened. Excellent service, I couldn't have been happier!

Carlos arrived right on time and was very professional. I asked if he offered an Angie's List discount and he took $20 off the quote he provided me before he even began the work. He answered all my questions and provided tips so this would not happen again. Would use them again.
