Pheasant Hill Landscape

Pheasant Hill initially was contracted by us a few years ago to restore our front lawn, which was in very sad shape. They did an excellent job, and we subsequently retained them for annual maintenance. Recently (May 2023), however, when we asked them to help us redesign a portion of our back yard, they hesitated but then finally provided a proposal, which we accepted. Less than a week later, without explanation, we were contacted and told they would not be doing the job and our annual lawn service would be discontinued. Despite several attempts, no further communication or explanation was provided. We don't know if the business is now defunct or if they simply decided they no longer wanted our business. We would have been ok with any reasonable explanation, but the lack of communication is highly unprofessional and frustrating as we now need to find an alternative service provider mid-way through the lawncare season. Contract this company at your own risk.

Beyond expectations! Patient, professional, experienced, full of great ideas, super responsive. We were way out of our league on this one and Dean educated us every step of the way, especially with things we didn't know to ask. We needed to pull in irrigation and pool help and that magically happened. The guys worked crazy long hours in ridiculously hot conditions and ALWAYS greeted us with kind, genuine smiles. They left a meticulously clean job site each and every night. We have complete trust and confidence in Dean, his team, their expertise and highly recommend them!

It went great. We hired them to do the work 3 years ago and are still working with them. Our lawn looks really great and the shrubs are providing different color all through the season. Right now they are mowing our lawn every week , applying fertilizer, pruning and keeping up to make our lawn look good. Dan and George are extremely professional. They arrived on time and always answered all of my questions. They are extremely responsible. All the workers that Dean hires are extremely hard workers. We have a problem with deer eating our shrubs in our backyard and they are figuring out a way to deter the deer. They also apply mosquito repellent which has been working great.

I've been impressed with all the service received from Pheasant Hill.  They are prompt, offer excellent service, courteous, professional, and willing to work with me whenever there is a question or concern about a particular aspect of the work performed.  I highly recommend them.

The teams were great.  They showed up on time as planned.  Very professional, nice work.  I will definitely use them in the future.

They are easy to deal with.  They usually email/call in advance of applications so you can plan around or reschedule.  Treatment seems to work, lawn has looked better.

Problem - A semi circular driveway that tends to be blocked off very often with city plowing at the end.  I contacted Dean to see if he would be able to clear the end of the driveway (for the second time in the past two weeks, which he did the first time).  The end of the driveway has no where to push the snow, so they brought in snowblowers to clear the area that the plow could not get through AND clear a wider area of the whole and upper driveway.
I have used PHL (Dean and George) for almost 2 years for year round grounds keeping, seasonal cleaning, tree work, snow clearing.  This year has been difficult for all.  I am "essential health personnel" and need to be available.  PHL has been very responsive for texts for help to clear my driveway, secondary clean up from the city plow and additional clearing.  I get a return call within no more than 4 hours of contacting them directly.  I recommend PHL with total confidence that they will be there for any of their customers.

They showed up on time as promised. They did an amazing job of removing weeds and crabgrass from my lawn and replanting grass with loam and compost.

They’ve been able to schedule and reschedule around me to come out and then while I was away, they were extremely reliable in terms of plowing and landscaping. Their pricing is right in line with everybody else. When they made appointments with me, they did show up to consult with me.
