PC Healthstop

I brought the laptop in. They had the part in stock for my laptop. They explained everything they were going to do and why. My laptop was fixed in less than a half hour. The new location is very easy to get to and leave from.

I brought in the laptop to have it serviced, because it was running rather slow. After speaking with the tech for a little bit about what was wrong, I was told it might take up to a full day to complete, based on how fast it could get done. I was called the next morning at around 10am, and was told it was all set to come pick up! The only 'complaint' I would have would be that their price is a tiny bit higher than one other shop in the area, but for the quality and professionalism displayed by the technicians, it's worth the extra money! When I picked up the laptop, the technician was able to tell me just what was wrong with it and how many viruses they found! 10/10 would use them again!

They stonewalled. They insisted they were right, that I didn't know what I was talking about, and couldn't have been more indifferent or apathetic.

When I brought it home and tried to turn it on, something zapped the motherboard and the PC would not turn on. When they replaced the power supply, the ON button green LED (indicating that the PC is on) was burned out. I brought it back to them to check out the problem, it was working OK at the shop. They claimed that the "electricity" in my house was bad and I needed to switch outlets and buy a new strip and extension cord. After spending an extra $35 for these items, I discovered that this was not needed but in resetting the motherboard they disabled the speaker drivers. They claimed they didn't do this and were not very helpful over the phone, nor did they try to help me troubleshoot the problem over the phone. A mediocre job and for $85/hr labor they were not very helpful or knowledgeable and didn't go above the call of duty. They could not even be bothered to blow out the dust that was inside my PC when they took it apart.

I dropped it off and within 20 minutes, I received a phone call looking for a little more information regarding the issues I was having. About 25 minutes later, I got a call saying that the issue was resolved. Wow!
