Watch out for this one! I hired Luan from Nemo New England Tiles to update my kitchen floor tiles. It involved removing the old tiles and install new tiles in. When he finished the work, he didn't put any threshold between the tiles and the hardwood floor, there were sharp edges! In addition, he removed the door to a cupboard in order to put in the list (baseboard), but didn't measure the width of door and the baseboard. So when he finished the door could no longer be put back, it didn't fit anymore. This was the way he called "finished" When I told him, you can't break my door and leave sharp edges on the floor and call it "job completed". If you don't fix these two issues, I can't pay you. He responded by threatening me with court order. After I gave him bad review on Angi, he called back and agreed to fix his mistakes. After it was completed, I paid him in full. I am giving him 2 stars because he threatened me even if he was the one that screwed up. And because of the screw up, the project took 1 day longer than planned. Fortunate for me that this was a small project. I would never hire him again and definitely NOT for a bigger project. Imagine what corners he would cut then, and what mistakes he will make then.
