Steven came on time, and was a nice guy. However, the work performed was amateurish at best. The job was sloppy, with grout strewn about the roof. Additionally, the chimney cap that was installed was not the correct size. (Therefore a considerable amount of rain continued to enter chimney, which we assumed was a different issue, since we had just had the chimney done.) Lastly, the crown was not built-up, which caused more water to enter the chimney. Terrible experience.

Was on time. Lacked an air of professionalism. Wasn't sure his brushes scoured the chimneys well. He failed to clean out wood stove elbow after he swept.

GOOD EXPERIENCE. STEPHEN RETURNED MY PHONE CALL PROMPTLY AND WAS ABLE TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT FOR CLEANING WITHIN A FEW DAYS. HE ARRIVED ABOUT 20 MINUTES EARLY. HE INSPECTED THE BASIC INTEGRITY OF OUR CHIMNEY AND WAS ABLE TO EXPLAIN WHAT WE HAD SEEN FLYING INTO THE CHIMNEY OVER THE SUMMER (BIRDS CALLED CHIMNEY SWIFTS, WHICH HAD BUILT A SMALL NEST IN THE CHIMNEY). HE CLEANED THE CHIMNEY - WHOLE PROCESS ONLY TOOK ABOUT 30 MINUTES. HE LEFT AN ESTIMATE FOR A CHIMNEY CAP (PRICE $225 INSTALLED).
