Metrowest Oil Service

Bad weather was predicted & oil tank was low, called my regular oil company, which is approx. 30+ miles away to fill tank.  I was told that due to the extreme cold & bad weather approaching they were servicing customers in their immediate area - unable to get to my home until the following week.  Of course I ran out of oil (which was my fault for not checking tank & calling oil company sooner).

I had never dealt with Metrowest Oil but I called them after 5 pm on Friday evening - they answered their phone!           Sent service person out immediately to prime & start up oil burner and with enough oil to get me through until my regular oil company could fill tank.  As far as the charge for this service it was the current oil price - no extra charges for emergency service. 

As far as I'm concerned, Metrowest Oil has an outstanding business & work ethic. They were a pleasure to deal with.

Needless to say, I switched my business to them.

Uneventful.  Heating oil is tough business and hard for a company to stand-out without charging notably more than the competition.

oil tank replacement  The tech that checked the tank called  back the same day with a price and time ,which was agreeable.  Two techs showed up on time pumped the old tank and installed the new tank and and pumped the oil back in.  The estimate was 4hours and they were done sooner.  They were friendly and professional.  I had to call back because a fitting had developed a seep, they respond that day and fixed the seep.  Thank you

They're very good, very reliable, their price is fair and service is excellent. I'm in the Northeast and it gets cold up in my area. We spend $1500 a year for oil, easy or maybe even more so they just deliver the oil. The way it'll be with them is the service contract is build in to the delivery of the oil so I have them separately service in the furnace, it's available depends how you price your services. In the Northeast, a lot of oil companies that you sign with us and we give you 2 or 3 years of various cleaning and some maintenance free until we priced your services so I bought the service bundle. I don't really worry about breaking about when someone's extra gallon from the service. They're very good prices. Their service is excellent, you can get them on the phone, you can talk to the principals involved if you have a problem. My furnace cut out and they came in right away and there was no charge, it was part of the service contract. They have excellent service, fair prices and knowledgeable technicians. They're fine.

Price and delivery were fine. We hadn't snow blowed yet but they made the delivery anyway.

Dave came over on a very cold Friday, January evening after I had had a very bad experience with a different service provider (Sila Heating and Air) which had wasted my time and money with incorrect "guesses"  about the cause of our problem.  It was obvious that Dave had the real expertise to solve my problems.  He was very professional and obviously experienced.  He took care to listen to what I was saying about the two different furnace shutoff situations I was experiencing.   He also spent some time to thoroughly checkout the performance of our furnace components to zero in on what the actual problems were. 

He found we had a "weak transformer" and that the nozzle needed adjustment.  This seemed to solve one of the shutoff problems, but he admitted that I could also be having an intermittent electrical issue with the "terminal base A/C ready relay" based on what I had told him about having to restart it at the thermostat sometimes and his observations. He couldn't replace that terminal base that night, but he left with the system working and told me to call back if we continued to have trouble.  Sure enough the system failed again soon after he left and he came right back.  He was able to temporarily bypass the relay so that we could get through the weekend.  On Monday another technician came back to replace the terminal base A/c ready relay.  We have now been running for over two months since they fixed it without any issues!! 

I was very happy with their very professional service and would definitely use them again!  Getting a true professional with the right expertise to work on your oil furnace is essential! This company was day and night over Sila Heating and Air which was totally incompetent!

New home, had set up a delivery with another company, called them and informed them oil was low and there is an infant in the home, the postponed delivery twice.  Called MetroWest Oil they came out the next day.  After delivery the driver knocked on the door, he was worried that the tank was so close to empty we may not have heat, and he had seen the baby in the window!  Checked and the furnace was running, very positive experience.  Will stay with them!!

They filled my tank a couple of times. They have also been out to do some repairs. They did a service call and the work they did stopped working again, they came back out and didn’t charge me for that either. I have been using them since the beginning of winter. They are professional and come when they said they would. I once ran out of oil and came out quickly within an hour. They have reasonable prices too.

I hired the company to instsall a additional heating zone to an addition on my house. This include new pipe valves and a thermostat . They arrived on time worked through out the day till the project was completed then cleaned up .Great work good price I will use them again

Everyone at MetroWest was responsive, (dare I say friendly) and professional and their prices were competitive.  I was "assigned" to this company through Mass Energy and have been happy so far.  They honored the price that they quoted me (even though it went up a couple of days later on the day of delivery) and very quickly sent a technician back when I needed more work to get my burner primed and ready to go (foolishly I had let the oil tank go down to empty).  They were willing to provide me with information about how to know when to order the oil (on a warmer stretch of days) and their prices were more than competitive with other oil companies.  I haven't yet had the burner serviced but anticipate that they will do this in a timely and professional fashion.  So far I am very happy with the company's service.

I really like this company so far.  I got hooked up with them through Mass Energy rather than finding directly.  I've had an oil drop and now this service. They're friendly, and it feels like working with a family-owned-and-run business rather than a corporation. Since I just bought this house and knew the system hadn't been serviced regularly in the past, I bought their best annual service plan, which includes an annual tune-up.  The tech arrived on-time, was professional and pleasant.  He spent an hour and 15 minutes on the job, which I know was a fair amount of work because the system had not been cleaned in years.  The boiler had been heating up the basement more than a boiler ought to.  He fixed that and explained to me why it happened.  Also, even without Mass Energy pricing, their oil is much more competitively priced than my previous full-service dealer.

I needed someone to come service my boiler and found it hard to find someone who serviced my area willing if I did not already purchase oil from them. I was not willing to commit at the time as I had just purchased a full tank elsewhere and wouldn't need oil again until October.
They were willing to do it on the hope and discussion of future business with no commitment.
The technician was on time, patient with my questions and did a clean and efficient job. 
I would absolutely recommend them and will contact them in the fall.

Contacted Metrowest after we ran out of oil, being new homeowners who never had oil heat before, we were quite stupid about it. They came out the same day and filled our tank and  got us on the auto fill schedule. We also had a tech come out to service the boiler for it's yearly maintenance. Their serviceman was on time, polite, and completed the work promptly. Much appreciated!

The gentleman was prompt and courteous.  He was there for about an hour.  Two weeks later, on Christmas day, our heat stopped working.  I called and immediately got a call back saying someone was on the way.  He fixed the issue and we were not charged.  Great service!

My mother is in poor health and was without heat and hot water in cold weather. The Company that recently installed the Boiler could not come until the following day even after I explained to them about her situation. "His tools were in another truck". I had heard positive comments about Metrowest oil and gave them a call. The owner Keith returned my call within 30 minutes. Although my mother was not an existing customer, Keith was very compassionate and assured me someone would be there within the hour.  The service man (David) arrived 30 minutes later and restored her heat within an hour.  They were more than reasonable with the charges considering it was a Sunday. She is now an extremely happy Metrowest Oil customer. I was impressed with our initial experience with Keith and David and continue to be very happy with the care and professionalism of this company.  My Mother benefits from their Senior discounts for oil and priority treatment. She was buying oil from a much larger company and now feels she is treated as a person instead of a number. I highly recommend Metrowest Oil to anyone needing oil deliveries and Heating services.

 I needed to have my water heater replaced and a fourth heating zone added to the room I finished over my garage . The service men arrived in the morning removed the old water heater and completed the instalation of the new one in a couple of hours while the other technicians began the piping for the room over my garage and tying everything in . The project went well everything works great no leaks and they cleaned up after themselfs . Overall a very good experiance and will call them again if needed
