How often do you hear someone describe a kitchen re-modeling as a positive and painless experience? My wife and I began working with Althea, the owner of Expressions, in November. She came to our house, discussed our options with us, and provided us with ideas and answers to our questions. She never pushed anything. I told her I needed to keep costs very much contained and she never balked; instead, she came up with ideas to make it happen while still getting the most out of the re-modeling. My greatest fear was the actual work. I have heard so many horror stories of re-modeling jobs going on for months and months. I dreaded it. Althea assured us that the trades people that she works with are reliable, and that they like to get their jobs done. So, on Dec. 1st I began taking down the old kitchen (I saved a little money doing this part myself). By Dec. 4th it was ready and so was the crew. And so it went. On Dec. 21st the last of the trade people packed up their tools. New cabinets, new floor, kitchen extended into a second room, granite counters. Gorgeous. Althea was true to her word. Always helpful. I am still amazed at how painless -- actually how positive -- an experience it was. I recommend Expressions wholeheartedly!
