DARCY DESIGN CONSTRUCTION

Fantastic work -- beautifully conceived design re the renovation of a tired-looking floor-to-ceiling red brick fireplace wall. Darcy made excellent suggestions for ways to re-think the appearance of the room, which had previously had a "country decor" look. She recommended removing exposed ceiling beams, adding crown molding, red oak flooring with custom-designed mitering around the matte black granite hearth and new mantel to enhance the new gas fireplace. Darcy's construction team was careful, highly skilled, and professional in their interactions with our family. They were punctual, neat, and friendly. We were so satisfied with the family room project that we hired Darcy to re-do our lavatory/laundry room and front entry hallway. Darcy herself is a dream contractor to work with -- always positive, extremely sensitive to a customer's 'price point' and truly skilled in her comprehensive approach to overseeing a job. We would hire her again, without question, if we had any other large-scale project in mind for our home.

Darcy planned and executed the project from beginning to end. All completed on time, except for a shower door ordering (not her fault). She has a great design sense and training in accessibility (aging) guidelines. Her subcontractors are excellent (except tiler...she needed a new one!)

We would highly recommend them. The things that stood out to me were her expertise, her experience, her prices, and Darcy herself.

Fabulous. Darcy is the best at planning and scheduling, and her team is tops. Everything was done exactly on schedule and with highest quality of work!
