I asked Bonded Transmission to diagnose our Subaru Outback. Not only did they drive it to replicate the problem (which they could not do) but they offered to use it over the weekend to see if the problem would reappear, which I agreed. It didn't. Instead they identified 2 rear wheel bearings that needed to be replaced. Subaru quoted me $8500 and had the wrong diagnosis. Very happy to have Bonded Transmission provide exceptional service.

I thought I felt something slipping, but after conducting a comprehensive diagnostic and inspection, they found that everything looked good. And I haven't had a problem since, so they were spot-on and I was imagining things. Very honest and trustworthy!

Great experience. The service advisor was patient as I asked him to go over my options a few times on consecutive days. It's a big decision. He looked into the value of my car for scrap, looked for a buyer, and looked for a used transmission. I ended up having them install a used transmission. It was the Thursday before Christmas when I gave the go ahead, and they ended up finishing it Friday afternoon. That was helpful. Here is the best part. After a few days I noticed fluid leaking from under my car. It was not pink or I would have called them right away. After a week, I determined it was power steering fluid. I called Bonded and told them that this leak started right after the transmission service. It was not there before or they would have seen it. And it was dripping from the center of the car between the front wheels. I asked them to take a look at it, and tell me whether it was was caused by their work. I told them I was relying on their good reputation to give me an honest answer. After taking a look, they told me the leak was not caused by them, but they still fixed it for me free of charge.

I thought it was expensive. Actually they told me the car was ready so I went down there and the car wasn't ready so I had to go all the way back home. It was a major hassle. Long story short, I had some issues with them, honestly. I had to go to work so I sent my wife and kid there to get the car and they had locked our key in the car, too. I thought they were expensive but I guess they were okay. When you tell someone the car is ready and you go there and it is not, it is a little aggravating. I lost a couple of hours there so I don't know how you can do that. It wasn't ready 3-1/2 hours after they said the car would be ready. The car runs good. I guess the responsiveness was okay. I did like the fact that when you went in there the guy was wearing a tie and they seemed professional and things like that. They have excellent ratings on Angie's List. I will give them another chance.

Small shop in a very invisible location. Yard looks like a used car lot next to residential duplexes behind chicken wire..showroom is 80's tire/service sta motif with a few stools and very aged reading goods. Write up time is fast, clear...but some questionable advice on brake repair jobs (other shops prices are substantially less-Pep Boys, or more based on decor-Lexus/TOYOTA). I didn't like their automatically sending email "reminders" on this "suggestion" of my car "needing services" every 14 days, and hoky "refer a friend" "10dollars off" smoke signals. Overall, I sense this must be a tough business in a marginal area trying to use the net to re-real prior contacts: it won't work with me...I listen and learn, but I won't be electronically badgered, especially when they were inaccurate-YMMV.

I brought my Mustang to Bonded for repair of a loose tailshaft identified by another shop in the course of maintenance work. Bonded immediately identified an issue (which they stated was an unusual one with the 6R80 transmission unit) and got to work on the repairs, taking about a week to complete them in early July 2015. Unfortunately, after receiving the car back I noticed a new grind-type noise coming from the transmission. Ultimately this required multiple additional visits over about a 3 month period to fully resolve (about 2 weeks of this was on me as I was waiting for a backordered driveshaft that I wanted installed while the car was already in the shop). The final of these visits was in late September-early October to correct a transmission fluid leak that was apparently due to incorrect installation of the pan at Bonded.
Bonded's staff was entirely professional throughout, did not give me any runaround as I've experienced with dealers, and did not charge labor for the needed repeat visits (just for additional parts totaling around $1500). They also assisted me in preparing documentation so that I could submit a claim to Ford for partial reimbursement of the repair costs (FoMoCo eventually cut a check for about 70% of the total cost). Most importantly, the transmission has been working perfectly without any problems for the past 7+ weeks. The only real negative aspect to my review was the need for multiple (approx 4) visits over a good portion of the summer for full resolution of the issue, two of which lasted approx a week. I did also need to contact them a few times to obtain status updates over the course of the repairs. However, Bonded did make things right and ultimately repaired the transmission properly.

I normally take my car to Firestone in Natick but this time I went to Bonded because of its good reviews on Angie's List and wanted to give independent shop a try. The shop markets itself as "straight answer people". Both service advisers seemed honest and service was performed within the promised timeframe. I didn't get the sense they were trying to sell me unnecessary services by using scaring tactics. Can't speak of the quality of work since I cannot verify but at least the "Check Engine" light is no longer on.
Price is on the high side - even with a coupon I could have saved $200 by going to Firestone. Also the waiting area is tiny and not adequately heated, also there is very little to do nearby so unless it's a quick job or you can leave the car there, I wouldn't recommend waiting for it.

With the weather that we have been having and the resulting frost heaves in the area the only pass through door in the front of the building that has not been effected is the door to the front office so it does get cold but do you know if the heater in the :waiting" area was on? We do have plans to renovate the front office and the targeted date of completion was February 15th but that was before all the snow hit. I would love to get your input as to amenities that you would like to see in the waiting area before we complete it. As to the price, I am not sure what Firestone was going to do for $200 less or what quality of part they were going to use. I had taken my car to the dealer (Acura) for a checkup, and they told me I needed a new clutch, as well as having the power steering fluid and brake fluid flushed. They were going to charge me over $1800 for the clutch replacement, and the fluid flushes would have been well over $100 each. I found Bonded via Angie's List and gave them a call. They came back with a quote of $1625 for all three services, and included a rental car (the job took over one day).
That sounded good to me, so I took the car there. They were very polite and professional, took me to the rental car location, and I was on my way. Went back two mornings later, returned the rental car, and got my car back. The clutch is working properly, and I'm certainly pleased with the price. I must have saved at least $500 over the dealer's price.

About 3 years ago my 10 year old car needed a new transmission. I went to this provider because they do transmissions and they are incredible. They are honest, work hard, responsive, and they do a great job. I continued to go to them up until i recently bought a new car.

It went well. We just found them a little pricey but other than that, we had a very good experience. They were very knowledgeable and very professional. They did a good job on the repair. We used them three years ago.

Very professional. Level of communication was superb. Went above and beyond on meeting expectations. $1800 for full set of brakes (pads and rotors) emergency brake, full set of tie rods and the replacement of front head lamp on 2003 XC70 $400 for full front brakes (pads and rotors) and rear pads on 2011 explorer Highly recommend them.
