Thank you Bob, to you and your crew. You guys did a great job with the new roof and installation of the cupola. The team was very friendly, did not waste any time on the job and cleaned up everything like they were never there.

Ordered specific roofing from him to add texture to the roof. He used this only on the front of the house and not on the back, even though I paid extra for the shingles. He then denied it, even though I had the packaging from the front and back Same Mfg. not the same shingles as paid for. Not very honest. I have a mansard roof and he left all the exposed nails across the front/back of the house (very visible) and tried to tell me that was industry standard. When I disagreed with him He then caulked each nail which made them show up more prominently. The roof previously had flashing there which they had removed. He did finally provide flashing to cover the nails. Not very trustworthy, would not hire again.

A very professional job was done.  They took extra care of the new shrubs and landscaping done on the front of the house this past November. Were here for just over 2 hours.

Did a good job.  I found a matching size skylight for him to install.  I guess his regular supplier did not carry the specific size I needed to replace so I bought it (A pain in the neck dealing with special orders etc) and Kierce did a nice job replacing the old skylight.   Did a thorough job cleaning up.  Overall a good job.  Only issue I had was we agreed since new shingles were being laid over the old, the roof  ought to be power cleaned.  Made sense as there were lichens and moss growing all over the place.  Bob Kierce recommended a provider for that service and his quote was double what I paid another roof cleaner to do the job.  When I called the first (recommended) cleaner, he quickly commented 'oh yeah, when I thought about it I was going to call you back and change the (+/-) $800 quote to $500'.  Funny how that happens.  I got the job done very professionally and quickly completed for under $400 from someone else I found.

Excellent. We had one disagreement on the replacement of the wood on one porch, which was resolved immediately and to my complete satisfaction. I not only would recommend Bob and team, I would not hesitate to utilize their services again.

The job went extremely well. Workers were professional. They did the work, cleaned up and were gone in a couple of days, I would definitely recommend them.

The roofing crew arrived promptly every morning at 7 AM, and worked until 4:30 or so in the afternoon. The crew were very conscious of keeping the work area clean by putting down tarps and also doing a magnetic sweep at the end of each day. The crew also did a great job of replacing boards that were damaged and needed replacing. The new shingles look great and the rubber on the flat roofs has taken care of water leaks that were plaguing my garage for years.
The communication with Bob was really easy and he was very responsive with any questions that came up.
The original estimate was that the work would take 3 days, but took all of 4. The original quote was honored even though the job took longer than expected. All-in-all, the crew did a great job and I'm very happy with the way the project came out.

He was able to give an estimate very quickly after we called, although I
wish that I had gotten the opportunity to speak with him in person
during that part of the process (he came out while I was at work to do
the estimate). His price for the job was the lowest of the 4 that I got.
We booked it and had to wait nearly a month since it was his busy
season and they were working nonstop. When he was able to make it out we
didn't get any notice because the customer that had booked his time
previously cancelled at the last moment, so he had the crew come
straight to us. Nice surprise, but a surprise non the less.
What he had estimated would take a couple of days took one Saturday afternoon.
After the crew left I did have to clean up the yard some, but I'm not sure how unusual that is for a job like this.
All in all I was satisfied with their work and the value of the job and I would recommend them to anyone.

The initial start date was slightly delayed--totally understandably--by weather, but once work began, everything went very smoothly.  Work was completed in three days and the clean-up was well done.  I think the only piece of debris I found was some wood caught in the branches of a tree.  It will only come down when the wind knocks it out of there.  Overall, I was well pleased with this contractor and his crew.

They did a really good job. It was quick and they cleaned up well afterward. They showed up when they said they would and finished on time as well. I'm having them come back in the Spring to repaint some areas when it is warmer and will make my final payment at that time.

Bob was very prompt in providing an estimate.  His price was very competitive with 4 other estimates I received.  The crew arrived on schedule and worked through the weekend to ensure the roof was water tight before the arrival of hurricane Sandy.  They finished the roof after the hurricane.  They showed up each day on time, were very professional and cleaned up before leaving each day.  Would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a new roof.  My house is an 1890 Queen Anne Victorian with multiple gables, valleys and an octagonal roof over the turret room.  They did an excellent job and even repaired some soffit damage from squirrels at no extra charge.

Bob Kierce was recommended to me by a friend who had hired Bob to strip and replace his roof.  My friend was very happy with the whole experience.  So I called Bob for an estimate to strip and replace the roof on our two family home in West Roxbury.  He came when he said he would, and he provided a written proposal on the spot.  I called him a week later and gave him the job.  He said he'd start work in about three weeks, depending on the weather.  About 3-1/2 weeks later he called to say he'd start work in two days, which he did.  He had estimated three full days to complete the work, and it took 3-1/2 days.  This hip roof is fairly large and complex with three large window dormers in the attic, so I think it just went a bit slower than he expected.  He covered each side of the house with big tarps while his crew stripped off the old shingles. As the work progressed, the old shingles and all resulting trash was continuously being picked up and put in a dumpster.  After all shingle work was complete, Bob's crew raked up the whole yard and then they went all over and picked up small bits of old shingles by hand.  Then they used a blower to clear any remaining tiny bits of debris.  The yard and sidewalk were left very clean.  The next day the dumpster was removed.  There were no extra charges.  We are extremely pleased with this whole experience and we would wholeheartedly recommend Bob to anyone needing a new roof.

From start to finish, this company was first rate. The work was precise, flawless and fast. The job started at 8 AM and was complete by 2 PM. The clean up was meticulous. I can saying nothing but wonderful things about Bob and his crew. His price was right on par with all other estimates and his work was outstanding.

His price was very good. The quality was good. His guys were very clean. When they were taking off and they got lot of nails as well as general thrash, they threw everything well in the dumpster. He went around with some tool and they got up all the nails. We were not finding when they did the roof replacement. They were here crack a dawn. They showed up when they showed up. They were here quite early and didn't leave until it was dark out there. They had a very good work ethic. I was very much pleased. I have another place for roof to be replaced so I would need to get the quote from him. I had quote on another property which was significantly less but this was the good size roof.

Bob was one of the first I got a quote from and after meeting, talking and comparing all proposals we chose him. His men were very conscientious - they pretty much worked the entire time they were here - just took a lunch break. They arrived early and left late. He had to replace some rotted wood which we hadn't even realized was so bad but we could see the damage once the shingles came off. In replacing the skylight some carpentry work had to be done because of size issues and his carpenter was great!!! I'll definitely call him for further carpentry issues. They had a dumpster on site all the time they were here and I was amazed at how it filled up. They went over the lawn, deck, shrubs for any stray materials and used a magnetic tool to pick up any stray nails.
