 + -1 moreJohn arrived on time each day and worked 10 hour days. We have never seen anyone with that commitment! He was thorough, clean and above all, artistic. He gave us idea's we hadn't thought of and worked with us to get a 'spot on' entrance to our home. It is the envy of the neighborhood and many 'walkers' have stopped to inquire about the workman and workmanship. John truly knows his trade and is a pleasant, friendly and approachable tradesman. We will continue to use him for various other projects around our home. We found a diamond!!!!

 + -1 moreAMAZING! Could not believe the difference before and after! John recommended a different solution rather than just replacing the bricks as they were - ending up with a combination of brick with granite steps which looks so much better than just brick. This will also hold up longer and easier to maintain going forward. Highly skilled craftsman - could not be any happier with the quality of the work. I was not home when the work was done, but my wife said that John and his workers were very professional - no issues whatsoever. There was an issue with the base area for the steps that you couldn't see until they removed the existing bricks. This obviously required more work than originally anticipated in the proposal, they did this without an additional charge and kept to the original bid. Highly recommend - great craftsmen - great service!

 + 0 moreIt was late fall when they started the work and with the cold they could not complete the job, so they covered the steps with a tarp and returned to finish when the weather got warmer. The chimney and stairs look great. O'Sullivan Brick and Stone did excellent work and kept the area clean and safe. They came when expected and kept us informed of their progress. The only problem is with the wrought iron railings. They had to be repositioned, a piece added for a turn and then painted. The wrought iron company did an inferior job. John saw the railings and he has offered to try to fix it. I am completely satisfied with O'Sullivan Brick and Stone. In fact, I hope to get them again to give us a quote on a small job.
Description of Work: Our original front stairs were brick and flagstone. They were taken out and replaced with granite landings and brick risers. They also worked on the chimney. There they reset loose bricks, pointed the bricks where needed and applied a stainless steel cap. They then applied water sealer to the entire exposed area.

 + -1 moreJohn was extremely professional, punctual, and fair. He rebuilt our neighbors's 9 foot brick retaining wall to perfection. It was a complicated job and he and his assistant did a fantastic job. We share a driveway with our neighbor, and John and his team were always careful not to block our side and were very polite. Because we too have issues with our wall, we had him provide an estimate to rebuild the wall. It was a very fair price given the amount of work and skill needed to repair it. Ultimately, we decided to hold off on the job, however if we'd moved forward with the job there's no doubt we would have chosen O'Sullivan.
Description of Work: He rebuilt my neighbor's brick retaining wall. We had him come by and give us an estimate to rebuild our stone retaining wall.
