Just had Michael's crew out to do a chimney repair job. Mike quoted the job in a day or 2 of seeing the work and performed the work within 2 weeks of my quote acceptance. His crew was friendly and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Mike.

Basically it went well. We had a scare with efflorescence on some of the pavers, and Mike stood by me all the way and got replacement materials for the pavers that were the worst. These were very costly pavers, and Mike was as upset as I was about the discoloration. With time, this has settled out and Mike's work looks great! I've gotten compliments from all the neighbors and visitors that have seen Mike's work.

And the new patio is exactly what I needed for summer entertaining.

Mike's style is to push back a little until when you question whether he understands exactly what you want. I had some pretty clear ideas on how I wanted this to look, and he and I talked extensively about the pros and cons of doing it my way or his way. Don't take it personally, because once he's on board with what you are thinking about, it will come out just great.

Mike's pricing was fair, he showed up when he said he would, and he left the property clean when he left. I would definitely call Mike if I have anything like this again in the future.

I hired company for new front stairs. He was to remove everything and build a new base. He ended up using original base, he said it was good. I paid $5,700., because he took off a couple hundred since he didn't have to build a new base (foundation) for steps. I didn't notice until afterward he was paid that the brick used on my front stairs doesn't match the brick on the front of my home. I also get a puddle on my landing, even after they made a repair so water wouldn't run towards my home. He asked me did I want to use old railing, I thought I might be able to use them again. He left them. I was unable to use them. The old stair case had seven (7) steps and the new one has six (6) steps, which makes them much more difficult for my elderly father to climb. Each step is 8" deep. I called numerous times, always said he'd get back to me. It is very stressful, I got ripped off. Never would recommend.

Mike and his team did an excellent job. He brought three masons plus himself to make a team of four. They arrived early in order to complete the work in one day. During the work they took steps to protect finished carpentry. At the end of the day the throughly cleaned the site and removed the debris. He was on schedule and within budget. Their craftsmanship was very good. Overall and excellent job.

Mike came and looked at my house that was done incorrectly. He told me how he could fix it. He gave me a price and applied the brick according to the specks from the architect. We paid exactly what he quoted, it was done in the time fame he said, and showed up every day on time. We paid 20% of the cost every time a side of the house was completed. He was very good- he did what he was suppose to do, what we paid for the first time! He left the job sight clean every day. This job was very difficult because of the closeness of the houses (they are 10 feet apart). He had to bring more supplies every day, because there was no space to store extra. He never charged extra for fuel or trucking- he held to his price, and never once asked for more. I can't say enough good things about him, and I would recommend him to anyone!
