 + -1 moreI was having a large shed built and wanted to put it on a slab instead of using the wood floor supplied by the shed company. My town required an engineering drawing for the slab. The first couple of engineering firms I spoke with told me I would need below frost line foundation walls which are two to three times the cost of a slab. When I called Dempsey, they told me that a slab was legal according to Mass code and they had already done this for other customers. Not only did they supply the drawing in a timely manner, but they copied and highlighed sections of the multi-hundred page mass building code proving that what I was trying to do was legal in case my local building inspector had a problem with it. They were very easy to work with and I would definitely use them again.
