Cabinet Refacing and Refinishing
I would NEVER recommend Lloyd and Bean. They were very friendly when they first gave us a quote to paint our kitchen cabinets. They assured us that our cabinets (from stained wood to white) would have a factory finish. What they didn't tell us is that within months the cabinets would start chipping showing the stained wood beneath. As another reviewer noted, they do not prep/sand cabinets. They wipe them down with a sponge and then start priming. In addition, Lloyd broke three of my cabinets and hung the doors crooked. When I mentioned this, he started yelling at me. They do terrible work and I would NEVER feel comfortable having Lloyd in my home.

I would never hire Lloyd and Bean again or recommend. Our cabinet paint after 2 months began to chip off of the cabinets. They did not prep or sand before painting or even seal it afterwards. They were very unprofessional and rude. When I questioned them about the paint job they were rude and disrespectful toward us as clients. They left unannounced and when we emailed them if they were coming to finish- they never responded and never finished the job. They were supposed to retouch all of the chips and drips. They never did and didn't even have the decency to apologize or even contact us again.

"This review is unfair and unwarranted. The job was completed, after a few month delay from Covid. The remaining doors that needed to be installed were installed when we were allowed to come back (Covid). We attempted to complete the job several times with the customer. We addressed all concerns including the laminate counter oak bull nosing (which we did gratis and under the premise that it was a high traffic component and subject to wear and tear...customer assured me they were replacing with granite shortly). When we came to install remaining doors a couple months after quarantine....the only complaint was the bull nosing. I re did the bull nosing. The “rude’ comment I assume comes from her daughter who accused us of not prepping properly.....which was not the case. This ensued a conversation where this accusation was rebutted. Customer avoided us by being on conference calls upstairs that final day. She was told we were completing that day and made no attempt to give final payment. She did send me an email asking when we would be coming back to complete. We had completed. Her cabinets were not chipping...she never contacted me with this after two months as stated in this claim. We felt all the petty complaints and delays were an attempt to avoid final payment."

Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we did not have the work done. If we shouldl revisit this project in the future, we will definitely contact them.

. I love my new Kitchen!!! It makes me happy every day. Lloyd and Bean were very professional but a lot of fun to have around.
