George is a very responsive contractor with attention to detail. He is not the cheapest but by far not the most expensive either - you get what you pay for and with George, you usually get more.

Nobody wants to replace a boiler, but George made the process as painless as possible. He dropped off a written estimate the day after he came out to the house to review the configuration. His price was very good and his references of which he provided several were even better. George was able to schedule the install almost immediately. He and his son Chris arrived on time at 8:00am and worked with just one break before leaving after 6:00pm. On the first day, they were able to remove the old system, install the new system and get heat working. The next morning they returned at 8:00am and connected the indirect water tank and Logamatic control and cleaned up. Shortly after they left, a sub-contracted trash man came and picked up the old boiler which had been neatly left off to the side of our driveway. George was especially flexible and accommodating to help us satisfy the qualifications needed for NSTAR/MassSave rebates.

A great experience. If I have any problems, he is here very quickly. Exceptionally nice man and did an exceptional job with the furnace. Things could not have been better.

Company that cleaned and tuned the boiler noted that the fire box, and the controls were wearing out and that a new boiler would be needed. I Googled for Heating and Air Conditioning contractors within a 20 mile radius, then joined Angie's List to review and select three to have come and provide consultation and propose what to do. I interviewed prior customers from each of the three firms and then selected Pearce Heating and Air Conditioning to install a new system. Completely satisfied and recommend the company to anyone who is having difficulties with an older boiler.

George provided a detailed estimate and was able to begin the work within 48 hours of my initial call. He gave us two options and explained the benefits of each one. He estimated the job would take 1 to 2 days. He nearly finished the work in one long day, but ended up having to return the next morning to finish up. Later that same day I called George to tell him a small leak had developed. He drove right over, examined the situation, and told me when he would be able to return with his assistant. When he returned, he diagnosed the problem (plug wasn't fully sealed on the new boiler), corrected it, and the system has worked flawlessly ever since. Throughout the entire process George was pleasant to work with, returned calls promptly, and made sure I was happy with the system I had purchased.
