The shower valve work involved cutting a hole in the wall to solder in a new fixture. He noticed that the water spout was not secured very well and fixed that as well. He repaired the hole in the wall - re-plastered, sanded, and primed. He returned twice for a second coat and sanding/ priming. He did this without me asking, considering this a part of the job.
The original outside faucets were soldered in and he replaced these with fittings that make them easier to remove in the future - without me asking, which I appreciated.
I am very satisfied with the job. The work was close to the estimate in spite of the extra parts and work. The labor rate was very good. As he was leaving Dave told me does a number of other things like carpentry, flooring, painting, electrical. Basically anything your house needs. I will definitely call Dave for future work.
