It didn't. The two installers walked in, peaked into the kitchen, looked at the old dishwasher from a distance and said " you better call a real plumber" and left. Never looked close or looked at the connection. They just walked back out. It worked out better because I called another installer who did it all in an hour and charged half the price. Would never call Day and Evening again.

Fridge stopped working. No lights, no functions at all. They arrived in a timely manner, diagnosed the problem as a dead fuse in a circuit board which required a new circuit board. After the job was completed, I looked it up online and replacing the fuse is not an easy fix, requiring some soldering, etc. The fridge is also working better now with the new board. Using fridge thermometers, it had to set the fridge compartment at 46° to get it at 37°, Now it's just a couple of degrees off. I'm really glad they fixed it, because I've read there's a nationwide shortage of large appliances the last several months. The repair guys were pleasant and professional.

This job went well. The business was prompt and professional in receiving the phone call and doing the job. During this job, I also needed a gasket for the door. Since the cost of the job was in percentage lower than getting a new refrigerator, I elected to have them do the job. I had no other problems with the refrigerator. They also recommended some brands that I should consider when I need a new one. I see them as a honest business and if my refrigerator had reached its end, they would have told me so and not done the job. I would like to recommend this business. There are some big name repair businesses that will come out and continue to repair your product until you either run out of money or the appliance breaks down to the point of no repair and you are left holding the bag. HONEST, PROFESSIONAL, PROMPT Appliance Service should be the name of this company.

Quick response and honestly assessed that this door could not be repaired in a cost effective way. He did not try a fix and charge me for a repair that would not last. Saved me a lot of money! I am grateful that he responded during the Corona pandemic as I am a front line essential worker.

We hired Day & Night to uninstall our old dryer and install a new gas dryer we had purchased from Lowes. These guys literally saved my holidays. Our experience with Lowes was horrible, and it turned out that the dryer Lowes “finally” delivered after 2 months was defective. The team from Day & Night was great, scheduled quickly, patient and even able to fix our old dryer and update our piping to code so we were not in a lurch because of poor service from another company. I highly recommend them, and will rely on them in the future first for advice on appliance repair or replacement.

He checked my stove and gave me good advice. I would definitely call him again.

Just used Day and Evening appliance services, they were fantastic to work with. They came over quickly and resolve our refrigerator problem with a quick and easy fix. I have dealt with many other appliance companies before that overcharge you for even the smallest repair. The service tech was awesome and they’re small fee for the quick repair was even better!

Never contacted me, even after Angie’s List inquired if contact had been made and I advised that no one had reached out to me. Disappointed. I want to support local business but this was big let down.

I called on the Monday of a long weekend. They got back to me the next day and was at my house by mid-day. They change the compressor relay and vacuumed the underneath my refrigerator. They are great!

They were so accommodating. Fit me in on a busy schedule and came on time. Couldn't have been nicer or more professional. They spent an hour ruling our major problems and determined the washer had a built up of detergent and the filter needed cleaning. The cost was only $99--I will hire them again. Family business.

I called Day and Evening last night on the strength of the reviews here and on a local Facebook Forum. I spoke with Steve who told me they could be here today. He and his associate, Jeff arrived when they said they would; listened to my description of the problem and immediately identified the problem. They had the necessary part on their truck; swapped it out for the bad one on my washer; and I was back in business in a matter of minutes. Their fee was fair. I'm glad to recommend them to others who need appliance repair and I certainly will call them again if I need their services.

We called Steve at around 6:00 on Sunday evening (he answered!) and he was at our house before 9:00 the next morning! Bad news...our washer had washed its last load. Good news...Steve was prompt, friendly, honest, and informative. He took his time with us, answering questions, making suggestions, and overall being a fantastic person to deal with. While we hope to not need a repair service in the future, if we do, Steve will be the only person we call!

Fantastic! They inspected the belt and found out it had slipped off the drum. I was NOT pressured into buying a belt I didn't need. I appreciated the honest advice. They will get any appliance or other work I can give them.

Excellent! The Technicians were professional and were knowledgable regarding the appliances. I was very glad i went with them! i wanted an additional job and although they could fit it in the owner called another contractor who came later in the day and completed the job the very same day!

The guys were prompt and were quick to determine the issues. Refrigerator needed a new compressor and was not worth fixing and dryer needed new heating element.

Everything went very well. They took the old blower fan motor with them to find a replacement and came back in a timely manner with the new fan motor. They also installed 2 new light fixtures in the bathroom. Very friendly and knowledgeable workers.

It went wonderfully well..he came in, replaced the belt on the dryer, was done in 30 minutes.

I thought it might be the control panel based on the error code that was present. It ended up being an issue with water not flowing properly. So a much cheaper repair than I was planning. They have been out twice before for other repairs. Great results as well.

Disclaimer: I had no relationship with this company prior to finding them on Angie's List. Life and food savers!!! Wow, service like it used to be! He saved us hundreds of dollars in lost food. Outstanding service, very prompt responses, and came to diagnose right away on a Friday morning because it was the fridge. I left a message on their voice mail and sent an email at 3 am on Friday and said we needed help he called me back at 4 hours later at 7 am as soon as he opened. I had set my alarm to call him at 7 am but no need! They diagnosed the issue straight away and ordered the part. It came in late Sat morning and they called me to let me know. Then they came by on a Saturday afternoon to put it in for us so we wouldn't have to wait. He said he tries his best to fix fridge issues asap because of the cost of food loss. They were highly professional, always maintained excellent contact, and called before arrival. They also have VERY reasonable prices. When the fridge shut off to 'cycle' later on Saturday evening I panicked and thought it was going to not turn back on. I sent a message and received a reply that it was just doing it's normal cycling and sure enough it turned back on shortly thereafter. When we called the store where we bought the fridge they gave us some number for a some out of state company that couldn't come for 10 days!! Then they just told us to dump it and buy another (apparently $3K grows on trees these days) because it was probably the compressor. Well, it wasn't the compressor and for a $175 part (what he charged me was what I could have bought it for myself online so I was happy there was no 'doubling the part price') our fridge is working perfectly and we didn't end up dumping yet another appliance in the landfill. So glad we found this service company on Angie's List who was able to get our fridge fixed for around $300. He checked out the rest of the components and said we should be good to go for years to come. The cash discount was very welcomed by us. If you have an appliance issue call this father and son team; you will not be disappointed!! PS: I really liked how he is mentoring his son in the business; it's a nice legacy for the family and the community for him to pass his knowledge and successful business on to the next generation.
