About us
Thank you for considering R.A.S. Associates. My name is Stephen W. Cartwright, PLS and as the principal and owner I would like to introduce myself. I am a licensed Professional Land Surveyor with over thirty four years of experience focusing with property surveys in the greater Falmouth area and the South Shore. During my professional career, I have also gained valuable experience having been a principal consultant associated with several of the largest public works and mass transportation projects in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. This has provided me a valuable insight into the area of property law. As our primary area of focus is Cape Cod and the Plymouth area, I promise, prompt, professional work in all that we do. As real estate is probably the largest purchase one can make, a proper understanding of your property is very important. Please feel free to contact me directly at 508-789-2259 to discuss your surveying needs.

"I believe Gloria's comments are unfounded and are factually inaccurate. During my work a neighbor inquired as to what I was doing, especially as it had started to rain. With the new equipment, rain is no longer an excuse not to meet your project schedule. The conversation was very casual in fact that I also shared with her another underlying reason as to my working in the rain included that my wife has some health issues and that I was fortunate to have the work especially that I had some major surgery seven months ago. When I challenged Gloria's second hand interpretation of my conversation with her neighbor, she instead chose to cancel the remaining work. Gloria had advised me initially that another surveyor, who had done the work for her years before, wouldn't return her calls, hence she sought my services through Home Advisor. When I had requested a small retainer for my services, she initially objected, but then relented. I guess the red flags didn't register with me that Gloria may not be one of the clients that I wanted to have."
